Notes come together to almost a sweet woody oud
Great daily
Amazing amber vanilla fragrance absolute fav
When I tried Brit the first time, I was immediately in love with this. The dominant notes here are pear, almond and vanilla. It is a very classic, creamy, feminine scent, which works for day and nighttime. A bit strong, therefore it is wise not to spray too much. The EDT version lasts pretty long. I can see why this fragrance is still around and would say it is safe to blind buy, if someone likes to wear sweet scents.
Eau de Charlotte is a nice light gourmand scent, you really smell that this was made in 1982, it has this old-fashioned touch, especially in the opening. I get a mix of Lily and Lily of the valley from the top notes, which seems to be pretty strong, but it fades away after a few minutes. Then it turns to a light and powdery scent, where a fresh/buttery kind of cacao and a whiff of berries dominates. There is not really something 'sweet' although there is vanilla in the base note. I would describe the dry down as a fresh floral-cacao scent. Very enjoyable to wear. The lasting power is a bit sad, maybe the EDP version has a better lasting power.
I do respect Rene Lalique for his creations, I really admire his works and love most of their fragrances. Perles is the first Chypre scent I have tried so far. As most people mentioned before, this is a very peppery, dry, but for me mostly a woody scent. There are no strong floral or sweet notes in here. Generally speaking, it feels like a dry and cold scent. Therefore, I believe it is a good perfume for people that dislike fruity, floral, aquatic or heavy warm scents. But these are all features that I prefer in a scent, that is why I had to give this away, it just was not working for me. The EDP bottle is made of frosted glass, very pretty look.
A fresh sweet almost aquatic vanilla that still has some warmth and depth to it. I used it while I was at university and found it was a great mood lifter and all-rounder. Nowadays discontinued, but a few bottles are still sold online.
I got this one for Christmas when I was a Teenager, and at first I was a bit sceptical if I like it. But after a while I recognized that Now is a very nice fragrance. The scent is very fresh and floral with some light sourness in the background, it becomes more and more fruity/floral after few hours. It is easy to wear during the day, not offensive or strong. I actually received compliments on this and finished the entire bottle. Just the bottle is not the best design, although the glass is iridescent, which makes it more attractive. -->Nowadays discontinued.
I enjoyed this parfum at first But after I tryed the absolute version this one felt like it was missing something
This cologne is warm and spicy with a hint of bergamot that lasts through out the day it lasts about 6 hours and projects about a foot out around you it is very harsh at the beginning but drys down to a smooth amazing smelling cologne 10/10 do not blind buy ive been told by many other people they do not like it this is my preference
Very nice fresh spicy scent. Lovely citrus blast opening, dry down to some nice woody notes. Good all year round fragrance. Nice for all occasions. Signature daily scent worthy. This is an all around above average scent. Cannot go wrong with this.
wherever you enter you leave your trail without a question even if you hug someone their clothes get your beautiful scent and ask you what you wear

Don't know where the listed notes come from, Fragrantica is the same.
If you're looking for something mysterious, sexual, alluring, just the right amount of dirty, this is it.
Warm dank body musk, rose, clean but sweet powder.
The perfect every day.
Citrussy, aromatic, peppery, green, fresh marine.
A little spicy from the patchouli.
Beautifully balanced light and dark.
A really great alternative for Alexandria 2,
With an amazing performance and high quality ingredients.
The opening is super spicy, from the sichuan pepper. Dont dismiss it just yet, because when it opens up it is absolutely fantastic. Super rich and deep caramel, backed up by patchouli and a slight salt note. it is not overly sweet at all. Dark and but approachable, it is perfect for a night out or date.
Very manly in my opinion, and the performance is insane. I usually only do max 2 sprays, and only 1 if im wearing it more casually. The trail this leaves is really really good, and it lasts forever. Dont spray it on your clothes at all haha. 10/10 for me
Even though my ratings on this are not that generous, it is a very nice fragrance its just overpriced. To me, this is a creamy ambroxan and citrus fragrance, accompanied by light floral touches and slight spice from ginger especially.
I personally really enjoy this fragrance, the longevity is not crazy but it is definately alright. The sillage is strange, sometimes people smell it just fine and other times its very close to the skin.
It is a very likeable scent, maybe my most complimented. This fragrance DNA (bvlgari tygar) has slowly been taking over, but is not yet mainstream IMO. Fragrances like l'immensite, vibrato and ginger infusion are very popular, and are frankly a bit better than this overall. This would be a better if the price was 30% lower. Even then, i often reach for this and it is a good fragrance.
On first application there is a mix of waxy ambergris and dark sweet oud. There is a slight hint of sweet earthy tobacco but I would have liked more. If you want more tobacco check out Blazing Mr Sam.
Not long after, the oud and spices from cinnamon and patchouli come through with a sweetness rounding it off.
Around 2 hours later it has settled into a slightly dark, fruity oud. There is almost a pot pourri vibe from the woods and fruit mixed with the spices.
This is a work of art. The holy grass base gives a unique musk that dries down to perfection. The spices come through strongly and you just get a waft of it throughout the day.
There’s a mystical nature to this fragrance, it’s perfect in the winter as well as there is a warmth to it that just makes me smile
The bottle is gorgeous and hand painted by the owner. All three Vallense scents are great but this is fantastic
Opens with a fresh grapefruity citrus, which at first was not amazing. Once dry, this fragrance turns into a beautiful fresh clean natural smell combining citrus, spice, ginger, and tea. So good it ruined other freshies for me.
Similar to Layton Exclusif, this fragrance opens very spice forward. Slowly it dries down to a sweet, spicy, comforting Winter scent that, with time, I feel anyone would fall in love with.
Open with a wonderful subtle sweet kind of pinny citrus note almost powdery its a pleasant scent not overwhelming at all. I sprayed 10 sprays the citrus hung around for a good 30 minutes. After an hour or so I was getting more of the woody notes still light pine/cedar scent. Its very well blended almost crisp/ bright simply appealing you want to keep smelling it. Projection it's not more than arms length perfect for gym or office setting. I can see this as a daily scent. Longevity wise no more than 6 hours on skin
Very reminiscent of French defense, this fragrance opens and drys with candy-like fruit (currant and pomegranate). Unlike FD, this scent blends a rose scent with the fruit. Smells nice but I could never pull this off
Opens with a tropical fruitiness of mango and an Aventus-esque pineapple being the main scents. On the dry down, the amber and pepper start to deepen for a fruity yet masculine fragrance. If you own Aventus, owning this is redundant.
