I always think I've reviewed fragrances then it turns out I haven't. I think I've posted a review for the others in this collection and I remember not being all that impressed by all but one of them. Un Jardin sur le toit, I definitely hadn't tried so I thought I'd better give it a go and you know it's not bad either. Green, fruity, slightly floral this to me is more of the garden vibe than the others it has a very natural spring/summer breeze thing about it. Again no real depth beyond that though and I wasn't expecting it to, just delivers a very fresh accord. Smells great on my girlfriend might be another one I'll try to convince her to get. Didn't last all that long on me but felt good to begin with so all in all not bad.
As my GO-TO year-round scent naturally I’m a little biased, but if you love fresh, clean, floral scents then this toilette is for you! It smells like pear and apple blossoms with a subtly warm undernote that just leaves you feeling clean, comfortable and sophisticated without trying too hard.
Now I say toilette specifically because this won’t give off the scent bomb that a “parfum” would, but it’s perfect if you want a scent that only people who are close and intimate get to fully enjoy! Now I’m not saying that it isn’t something I get complimented on a lot, as for about 1 hour after application the way this scent allows the wind to carry it is as mystical and light as a butterfly, often prompting people to ask what it is! But if you reapply it more frequently, then it‘s the type of scent that can mimic the robustness of a parfum for periods of time.
