Ok. You might be thinking that I've completely lost it. But hear me out.
I'd like to introduce you to the first episode in an ongoing satirical series that I'm calling "What You Think You Smell Like".
My primary goal of this series is very clear: to bring to the light the (in my opinion) silly pursuits and philosophies that seem to dominate the fragrance space on YouTube. Not throwing shade at anyone's hustle...just believing that we can do better.
The launch-episode of this series focuses on the absurd weight that is put on fragrances in general, in regards to being an "easy button" or a centerpiece to sexiness. I think we all know that it is not your fragrance alone that makes you appealing, and I think its about time here in the fragrance community that we consider discussing all of the peripheral elements of what makes us attractive (clothing, grooming, attitude, how we treat others, etc.).
