Labor Day weekend feels like the perfect time to explore marine fragrances. Fresh, salty, breezy perfumes that bring the sea to life. Whether you love aquatic notes or find them challenging, I’ve put together an extensive list of marine-inspired scents: from fig + marine combos, to floral seaside perfumes, to the more daring inky, salty, mineral takes.
I used to dislike marine fragrances, but my sense of smell has evolved over the years. Some are still tough for me (fishy, sulfuric, and chlorine-like!), while others have become true loves.
