Inspired by Scandal Pour Homme Absolu by Jean Paul Gaultier Smells amazing. Longevity is good, maybe 6-8 hours. If you are looking for a cheap version of JPG Scandal Absolu this is it.
A fragrance you don’t need a master’s degree from ISIPCA to describe well. The opening is fresh, with tart blackcurrant and bergamot. After a while, however, the scent becomes sweeter, jasmine appears, ripe, rich, and intensified by vanilla. In the dry down, the vanilla blends with woody accords, turning velvety and very comforting. This fragrance reminds me of late June and the beginning of the summer holidays in Poland. I’m sitting on my grandmother’s porch, enjoying a slice of pleśniak (a crumbly cake with fluffy vanilla marshmallow and blackcurrant jam) while the air is filled with the scent of blooming jasmine. Longevity is around six hours, with good projection, you can smell it throughout the house. For me, it works best in winter, as in summer it can feel a bit overwhelming.
#This fragrance is not for me. It is NOT a good blind buy. I Smell the opening all day strong apple and flower scent. It has a hell of projection and last forever. the problem is I can't stand the smell of it.
This is my first fragrance from this brand. It opens with a sweet mango note, but unfortunately the mango fades quite quickly, giving way to a rather undefined blend of white florals. The overall impression is soft, creamy and very comforting. The scent doesn’t really evolve throughout the wear.
Longevity is around three hours, with a close to the skin projection.
The opening for me is horrible, but one thing about the Dries Van Noten house the fragrances take you on a full journey.
Upon initial spray it smells like BO, but when it officially dries down it turns into this sweet skin scent.
It doesn’t give me a vanilla scent, but more so a blend of woody, citrus, sweet skin-like smell. I can’t throughly pick up on vanilla & the tonka, however those notes play the background to give it a sweetness during the dry down.
I must say for it to be an EDT the longevity is excellent, moderate projection/sillage. It’s not offensive and can be worn at work/office like environment. Again skin like frag.
I can’t wait for it to macerate
The fragrance is highly distinctive. It opens with an exceptionally realistic whisky note, like the first sip of a strong spirit on a chilly evening somewhere in a dimly lit pub. This note is so intense that at first I can’t detect anything else. As the initial impression fades, dried apples emerge, accompanied by a subtle herbal nuance and woody accords, evoking an old pantry, wooden crates and herbs hanging from the ceiling. In this form, the scent remains consistent right through to the dry down. Longevity is around four hours with moderate projection, which I actually see as a positive, unless, of course, one wants to smell as though they’ve just come from a heavily boozy night out. This fragrance is definitely not for me, but it will undoubtedly appeal to lovers of characteristically “boozy” compositions.
This has a peppery-like opening then you get hit with a citrus, aquatic, salty vibe. I like the scent but the longevity is non-existent. for the price, it’s just not worth it. If I want this, I’d just go with Castley.
I’m not sure why, but I’ve always avoided perfumes with a rice note. This composition does indeed open with an accord of cooked rice, which fades very quickly. The rice is accompanied by a touch of acidity, I’m not certain whether it’s bergamot or perhaps buttermilk. After a while, the scent becomes sweeter, with notes of caramel, a buttery accord and vanilla. It is sweet, but not gourmand. The base is a very pleasant combination of woody notes and vanilla. The fragrance is pretty, but it doesn’t quite convince me. Longevity on my skin is also disappointing, after two hours I can only smell it on my jumper, and the projection stays close to the skin.
A must have in the collection. For the cost it is a pure complimenter all day long.
You get the Iris right off the top and it stays the whole time. Smells amazing for the cost. Inspired byGentleman Eau de Parfum by Givenchy
This is a bright, fruity floral. It starts off a bit tart thanks to the blackcurrant and grapefruit, but soon you get that sweet, juicy pear coming through with a bit of a kick from the pink pepper. The floral heart has a touch of pineapple that gives it a real boost of energy. It finishes with a nice woody vanilla base, but it stays fruity throughout. It lasts for approximately six hours with moderate sillage, creating a subtle aura around the wearer rather than a heavy trail.
An amazing aquatic, green fig fragrance, I would say you could wear this year round, but some would say spring and summer just because of the fig note.
This is very modern vanilla, elegant and dry. The fragrance references the EDP version, but feels more airy and definitely less overwhelming. It opens with a clean, lightly creamy vanilla that has nothing to do with gourmand sweetness; instead, it is natural, refined and subtle. As it develops, a distinctive powdery accord emerges, lending the composition softness and a velvety texture, reminiscent of fresh, clean silk sheets. Over time, the scent settles closer to the skin, becoming more intimate and personal. The vanilla blends with dry, gently woody nuances, adding depth and a refined character. This is a minimalist yet meticulously crafted composition, calm, soothing and exceptionally elegant. Longevity is at least eight hours, with moderate projection.
This opens with warm, enveloping honey, followed by delicate mimosa that brings a softly powdery freshness. After a while, a sweet, creamy note of roasted pistachio emerges. It is the pistachio that gives the composition its addictive, distinctly feminine character. On my skin, the longevity is around five hours with moderate projection, while on clothes the scent lasts all day.
It’s missing a little more depth than the original when it come to the incense, but in the air I don’t think anyone can tell the difference.
It’s a pretty fresh rose scent. Such a beautiful bottle and the dry down is amazing.
This is not a safe blind buy, by no means either you like it or hate it. I like it. Very strong right of the rip. to me it smells sweet and clean. It is hard to find a place to wear it because of how strong it is and i don't want to give people with sensitive noses a headache. but for me I love the smell of it.
Cool summer freshness, lovely and elegant.
The Intense version is warmer and has a more pronounced projection than the original, it stays fairly close to the skin, yet remains clearly noticeable. The composition develops in a classic manner, moving from a fresh, fruity opening through a rich floral heart to a deep woody amber base. Longevity is around six hours. Although it’s neither a niche nor particularly innovative, it stands out for its pleasant, well crafted character and is likely to appeal to those who enjoy mature, feminine compositions. It’s a scent I return to when I can’t quite decide what I feel like wearing.
Acqua di Parma Colonia Oud feels easy and confident, like it’s doing its own thing without trying too hard.
The opening is pure Acqua di Parma: bright, clean citrus, slightly soapy, very fresh. Then the oud comes in slowly, smooth and classy, never loud or heavy. It’s not that dark, smoky oud. It’s soft, polished, and super wearable.
What I really like is how relaxed it feels. Fresh enough for daytime, but with enough depth to feel grown-up and put together. It works great in warm weather, in an office, or even a casual dinner when you still want to smell sharp. Projection is calm, people notice when they’re close, and it lasts nicely on skin.
Colonia Oud smells like quiet luxury. Clean, elegant, and effortless. The kind of scent that just fits, no drama, no noise, just good taste.
Club de Nuit Intense Man Limited Edition feels powerful and confident from the first spray. It opens with a bright and juicy burst of citrus that quickly becomes smoother and more refined. The smokiness appears gradually, mixed with woods and a subtle sweetness that gives depth and balance.
As it settles, it turns warm, woody, and slightly musky, staying strong but not harsh. The Limited Edition feels more polished and rounded, with better blending and a smoother dry down. It is bold, long lasting, and very noticeable, perfect for evenings or moments when you want to stand out with confidence and presence.
I remember seeing this at the pharmacy when I was a kid, loved the unique bottle.
Bought it recently for nostalgia and find it a refreshing blast from the past.
Use sparingly unless you want to smell like cleaning products!
Oyedo feels bright, clean, and uplifting from the first spray. It opens with a vivid burst of citrus, fresh and slightly bitter, like peeling an orange with your hands. There’s a dry, almost woody edge underneath that keeps it crisp and elegant, never sugary.
As it settles, it stays light and refreshing, very natural and calm. Oyedo smells simple but refined, like fresh air and sunlight. Perfect for warm days, daytime wear, and moments when you want to feel clear, energized, and quietly fresh.
Jazz Club feels warm, cozy, and effortlessly cool. It opens with a smooth mix of rum and tobacco, slightly sweet, slightly smoky, like stepping into a dimly lit bar late at night. There’s a creamy vanilla underneath that keeps everything soft and comforting.
As it dries down, it becomes more about woods and skin, very inviting and intimate. It’s not sharp or loud, just rich and atmospheric. Jazz Club smells like confidence, warmth, and quiet nights. Perfect for evenings, cooler weather, and moments when you want something relaxed, masculine, and full of character.
