This has a nice airy quality but nothing to hold onto for any length of time.
There is something about the fruit and leather here that I can’t stop thinking about.
This has a nice warm base but I didn’t feel it had enough depth to go for it.
This confirmed my love of fig leaf but is no Invisible Post by 1969
Such a nice summer fragrance for both men and women. I’ve been wearing this all summer after smelling it at scentbar. I bought it on the spot. it’s very refreshing and it projects and lasts like a beast! You will smell like a citrus paradise all day.
First time I ever got stopped on the street, was wearing this. Kind of ironic, that it would be one of the cheapest in my collection.
I love the scent of this. Very warm and sexy. Perfect for a night out or a date.
Doesn't last long - but that is to be expected buying a 25€ perfume, in my world.
Hands down one of the best in my collection. A very fresh but warm and sexy fragrance. I honestly think this is wearable in all seasons.
It's very new for me, so i will update on longevity. But so far so good!
Ramshackle wooden pier, salt-bleached planks sea wrack rot, shifting scrim of slate sky. Miss Akranes contest, bright bunting wilting in salt spray and sea mist, dripping gown and cracked rubber boots. Icy rain of butter and brine, each drop a tiny oyster on the tongue. Fishing nets of pearl grey silk tangled with kelp and hollow percussions of fish bones; the iodine tang of seaweed rotting in tide pools where lobster traps rust and seashell sibilance gurgles, whispers, salted and cured. Sea glass teeth, crowns of crab shell, scepter of driftwood and whalebone. Something ancient stirs beneath the harbor, pageantry for drowned gods. What the tide brings in, the mayor photographs for the brochure. What it takes away, no one admits to their children. Velkomin til Akranes. Sjórinn heilsar þér svanglega.
This is what Vesper Lynd wears in Casino Royale and I totally agree. A little unexpected, a little contradictory, but still sensual.
One of the best vanilla scent I've smelled.
Gourmand but not too much !
Too many red berries on top of the florals for this to be anything special. Serviceable mall scent.
This is an unusual scent. the first part is green and fresh and then it goes Into a cozy evening vibe. Which makes sense when you read the copy for the perfume. Took me a few wears to fall in love. It’s a perfect start your day or end your evening kind of perfume. Wake you up and mellow you out. I have not smelt a arran jumper but I do a slight lanolin like smell that is comforting like Luscious cream. the price point and creativity ratio is also right for this line. Well worth checking it out and will make a perfect souvenir if you go to Ireland .
I imagine this is what Link puts on before meeting up with Zelda for an evening walk around Hyrule Castle grounds.
This has the seasonless mix of white floral and powder that could make for an easy signature scent, but it doesn’t have the longevity of other Chanel perfumes I’ve tried which holds me back from loving it too much.
this is a complex and lovely light scent. My main complaint is that it lacks staying power, so you need to apply multiple times per day to keep the joy alive.
It's a bit basic, it's blue, but it's cheap and it's complex enough for the money. Very spicy, aromatic, citrussy and woody, it's an easy grab and go.
Wow what a gem! I liked Kayali Yum Pistachio Gelato in store and following the reviews on here, I decided to get Affection for under £20 instead of forking out £100 for the OG. I have no regrets, to me this smells exactly the same as the Kayali one. It’s such a lovely comforting smell. Might be my new fave now. It opens with a creamy pistachio sweetness, wrapped in milky, comforting notes that make it feel both cozy and indulgent. It even has the cold ice chill feeling like the OG.
A very amazing-smelling cologne. It would definitely be higher if it weren’t for the performance. The performance is trash; get about 3 to 4 hours of good smell, then it becomes a skin scent for another two hours, and then it’s gone.
This is a big white floral that packs enough power to wear year round but delicate enough to wear with lace.
The first breath of Cocoa Kimiya brought me to the forest before dawn. The trees were still dreaming. The air was green and rich. I could feel the land listening.
It begins with cardamom. Fresh and sharp. It cracks open the silence and lets light in. Then comes cocoa. Dry, ancient, and full of shadow. This is not a gourmand in the usual sense. It is not sugary or playful. It is ritualistic. It is elemental.
This fragrance moves slowly. It wears like a story passed down in whispers. There is no rush. It invites stillness. On my skin, it became both grounding and luminous. A quiet ceremony in scent form.
Marie Salamagne has crafted something that feels sacred. Cocoa Kimiya does not try to impress. It draws you in, if you are willing to listen.
Final Thoughts: This is a fragrance for those who use perfume as a form of connection. It feels intuitive and raw, with just enough warmth to wrap around you. A standout for its restraint and its soul.
Rating: 9/10 Full bottle worthy? Absolutely. This is one I reach for when I want to feel rooted and inspired.
A hooded figure watching from beyond the shadows, but shadows of what, and why in a place no shadow should be? The insidious intrusion, the confounding juxtaposition, the thing found in the wrong place. The stirring of things best left unstirred. Resinous orchid musk, feral balmy, rotting-earthed humidity. Milky murk, like looking through the eyes of the dead. Honeyed spices part buried, cinnamon-cardamom-disinterment deferred, the ground is wrong, a terror in the terroir. The boundless and hideous unknown, a carnal effluvium of the eerie and the weird, reinterpreted as a not-too-bad fragrance. Actually, kinda lovely.
On the femme side of unisex but way too airy clean girl for me.
Overall, this is a mediocre dupe of Imagination and not a great fragrance by itself. Smells dusty to me, and unlike Imagination, there’s no tea note. There‘s nothing I like about this. What a dud.
i was pleasantly surprised after trying this Berbera as the notes of incense and frankincense are usual not my cup of tea. I guess i tend not to be confortable around those mostly when they remind me of church interiors which is surprisingly (or not) not the case in here. I love this scent so much. It’s fresh, not clogging, not for a second. Beautiful scent. My favourite from the brand so far, taking the place of Sulawesi. I’m going through the discovery set and only Grand Ile left to try. I find Berbera the most long lasting too. Silage is very weak though, as it is for all other scents. A missing point for me to be hones…
