I know this video is absolutely futile...but I would be inauthentic if I did not use it to share my observations.

To be frank, some of what I'm saying this video are ideas that I've shared before. But I believe in their importance, which means that I believe they deserve reiterating .

The shallow use of themes such as compliments, "lady killers", "panty droppers", and the like, is a problem. The idea of fragrances playing a role in these experiences is not inherently bad--it is the omission of the rest of the equation that makes it especially manipulative.

All I'm saying is this: if we're going to make top 10 most complimented fragrances lists, we need to talk about the rest of what it takes to get a compliment on your fragrance. Because the fragrance will not do it alone.
