I finally got my hands on the new Bvlgari Tygar Extrait. This one dropped quietly as a Harrods exclusive, and of course, I jumped on it. The price is steep, and the bottle sizing has changed, so there was a lot to unpack before I even sprayed it. Today I compare the new Extrait with the original Tyg(ar) and give you my honest first impressions on the strip and on the skin.
If you love the bright, juicy blast of the OG, the Extrait might surprise you. It takes that citrus DNA into a darker, smokier, saltier territory with a boosted ambergris accord. I also compare it to three popular alternatives that many of you already wear: Sospiro Vibrato, Kajal II,I and Ex Nihilo The Hedonist in both its regular and Extrait versions. These are the closest scents in the same family, and they help show where the new Extrait sits in the lineup.
