Clean, sweet and rosy. A slightly milder version of Idôle by Lancôme .
Does this smell like Myrrh? No. Does it smell good? Yes. A warm and comforting, masculine leaning, linear blend which is great for cool evenings. The "Myrrhe" is buried under a myriad of sweet and spicy notes, but that's a good thing given the umami and medicinal duality of Myrrh. A bit pricey for what it is, but still a great fragrance that has people leaning in closer.
White musk fragrance, perfect for summer. It reminds me of white linen sheets blowing the wind on a sunny day. It‘s a gentle yet bright fragrance with softness underneath. I gravitate toward more subtle perfumes in the heat and this is a favorite. Some might consider this too basic but I think it’s delightful.
Jean Paul Gaultier is a fashion brand that has built a reputation for being bold, creative, and completely unafraid to stand out. Known for its unique designs and unconventional approach to fashion, the brand has become one of the most recognizable names in the industry. Its fragrances especially have gained a huge following because of their distinctive bottles, memorable scents, and strong personalities.
One of the things I like most about Jean Paul Gaultier is how much character its products have. The designs often feel different from what you would normally see from other luxury brands. The famous torso-shaped fragrance bottles immediately catch your attention and make the products feel collectible, rather than simply being something you use and put away.
The fragrances are also a major reason for the brand’s popularity. Many Jean Paul Gaultier scents have a sweet, warm, and noticeable style that makes them easy to recognize. They can be especially enjoyable when you want a fragrance that gets attention and lasts for a long time. The different collections also offer enough variety that there is usually something for different tastes.
Another strength of Jean Paul Gaultier is its ability to combine luxury with a playful attitude. The brand does not take the traditional rules of fashion too seriously, and that makes its designs feel exciting and modern. At the same time, the quality and presentation still give the products a premium feeling.
Overall, I would give Jean Paul Gaultier a 9/10. It is a brand that successfully mixes creativity, confidence, and luxury. Whether you are interested in fashion or fragrances, Jean Paul Gaultier offers products that are memorable and different. Its bold identity is what makes the brand stand out and keeps people coming back for more.
A drier, woodier flanker of the original. The "mojito" opening is still there, but the dry woody backbone makes it a great choice for hot summer days. Office-safe fragrance. I prefer it to the OG.
The best citrus in my collection
sugared ginger. the perfume between freshly cirtuses and sugared pieces of ginger
I know this one is difficult for some but I really like it. It's bright enough for summer but has enough depth to take it into the cooler days. I think the reason it gets the side eye is because it doesn't categorize well. For the price it's worth having around as a change of pace.
It's a fine fragrance. I'm just overly sensitive to that Middle Eastern stink. The fact that it's even in my rotation says a lot about how tame the oud in this is.
This is my second Micheal Malul fragrance. I also have Blue Ridge/South Slope. I think I like this one a lot better. Some could say it’s mid, but I don’t think so. It is a fougere fragrance. It’s very clean smelling. I think of a a crisp ironed white dress shirt when I smell this. I really don’t think anyone would not like it. To me, this has more personality to it than Bleu D’ Chanel. I got it for $29 at TJ Maxx, and I’m considering going back and buying the other on. I will say that the bottle and lid look extremely cheap, but the liquid is solid! I would even consider buying it, if it was $91 like I seen in other shops.
It's a lovely scent. It just too close for me and I really don't mind a quiet scent. I suppose that's why I only wear it a few times a year.
Classic, classic, classic! My uncle wore this when I was a kid. Yeah, he was a classy guy. l would say that this is a fragrance that can be worn anywhere, anytime.
This is one of my guilty pleasures. I wear this when I'm at home for myself. I'm not one to bandy the word dated around but, I'm old and this smelled old fashioned when I was a kid. I still like it so every now and again I'll throw it on and go about my business at home and enjoy this scent from a different time.
I love this stuff! It's very unusual but not strange. This has a reputation for being 'dark' or 'gothic'. Yes, that's true but don't mistake it for unbearable. My only complaint is the bottle; I do wish it came with an atomizer. I'll always have it in my collection.
The very very first fragrance I've ever purchased as a teen in 1988. My cousin used to wear this daily and the first time I caught a whiff of this classic I was hooked and it was all uphill from there
I've had a really good experience with Von Eusersdorff fragrances in the past, specifically the Classic Myrrh, and Classic Opoponax doesn't disappoint.
The overall vibe of this is a slightly spiced, powdery, and faintly sweet sandalwood & amber fragrance that leans into the very nice jasmine and rose of the opening.
The vanilla doesn't lean into the dessert territory and presents itself in a more refined and mature manner.
For those who enjoy the Musc Ravageur type of vanilla, you will feel right at home here.
I had a single bottle of this eau de toilette that I loved. Discontinued for years, it was only recently that I found a site that mentions it. I would like to know its composition in order to find a similar fragrance or even have it reproduced.
Man magnet🔥thats it!
People either love or hate this perfume. I love it. The opening smells like Play-Doh, which for me is a weirdly pleasant experience. As it dries, the aldehydes give it a soapy quality that some could interpret as metallic. It’s bizarre in the best possible way.
pleasant slightly sweet scent, decent sillage. Unfortunately, its longevity is not very long. Remains a very good exceptional scent thanks to its notes that combine well and a magnificent perfume for an evening and layering. 6.5/10
Gave it a 4...3 and a half really. Nice and fresh, leans slightly masculine. Nice Musky dry down(obviously). I like wearing it on days when I'm with my nature group or walking in the countryside.
I love this perfume so much🔥such a compliment getter
I have had so many compliments wearing this. The scent lasts forever. I remember when it was being discontinued and I remember searching every bells outlet leaving empty handed. The price was reasonably affordable.
