It’s a very pleasant woody spicy unisex combo, leaning masculine. It opens with notes of cardamom and pink pepper, before osmanthus, suede and sandalwood come to the forefront. Oud is used very sparingly here, and this is certainly not a heavy, barnyard style oud. The composition is dry and refined, yet enjoyable and very wearable. The fragrance has good projection, but after around six hours it settles closer to the skin.
Great unisex scent in my opinion
What did Tom Ford do to create such a beautiful fragrance? Noir de Noir is the brand's finest perfume, a luxurious, regal scent suitable for dates, special occasions, and the office. Thank you to every hand and nose that worked on creating this magnificent masterpiece.
It’s the quintessence of French chic in a lighter interpretation. The fragrance opens bright and refreshing, with citrus notes of mainly mandarin and bergamot, which give the composition lightness and freshness. This is followed by jasmine, rose and orange blossom, amplified by a touch of clove, this stage feels unmistakably Chanel. Woody notes, patchouli and vetiver form a dry, elegant base. Overall, the scent is warm and refined, yet close to the skin, with subtle projection. Longevity is around six hours. Good to use once in a while but I’m not a fan of it.
It’s a cheap and cheerful fruity floral scent, delicate and girly. It opens with mandarin that has a lightly candied character, likely thanks to macaron and pistachio notes. Later on, florals come to the forefront, while the base reveals musk sweetened with a hint of candy floss. Longevity is around three to four hours and the projection is rather soft, but at this price point you can happily reapply as often as you like. It’s a safe blind buy, perfect for everyday wear and the office.
I think its pungent and sweet
It is a clean, comforting fragrance that gives a sense of freshness. It opens with a bright note of ginger and orange blossom. This is followed by musk intertwined with a delicate touch of salt and creamy ylang ylang. The base has a warm, woody and resinous character. On my skin, longevity is between eight and ten hours, with moderate projection. It is a safe, easy to wear fragrance that works very well for everyday use.
I really, really like this scent. You get some oud but not in an overpowering sense. I can smell it but it’s faint, so silage and longe don’t hold up for me. I bought this from a discounter so I don’t feel so bad. However, if you like to reapply or wear something different later in the day, this could be for you.
It is a unisex composition built around a pronounced coffee accord. The opening reveals heazelnuts, a touch of cinnamon and apricot, which feels unnecessary here. Shortly afterwards, the aroma of freshly roasted coffee emerges, blended with caramel and chocolate enhanced by tonka bean. I don’t detect any coconut (thankfully). The base is sugary, resting on woodsy notes, musk and benzoin. The fragrance is intense, fills the space and lasts around seven hours on my skin. It was a blind buy as based on the notes, I expected to fall in love with it, but the apricot note puts me off.
It’s a unisex composition that opens with a light citrus accord touched by a subtle hint of pepper. After a short while, tuberose comes to the forefront, intertwined with ylang ylang and iris accords. Although tuberose dominates, it is neither overly sweet nor old-fashioned, or granny-like, instead, it’s classy and elegant. The composition is grounded in leather and sandalwood notes, which lend the fragrance depth and a slightly earthy character. On my skin, longevity is around five hours with moderate projection. It is definitely a scent worth trying.
This is everything and more than the original. I smelled this earlier this year and it easily came one of my go to daily fragrances. 10/10
I have to spray a good deal of it to last, but it’s a fantastic scent.
Love this fragrance girls love it and I get crazy complements
Very cheap for an amazing cologne
It is a simple, feminine white floral. It opens with a lightly green jasmine note, which is quickly overtaken by creamy tuberose. The rangoon creeper note adds softness and a gently powdery character to the composition. The scent is cohesive, straightforward and linear. Longevity is around six to eight hours, with moderate projection. For me, it works best in winter.
best ParfumI ever smelled
I blind bought this as an easy freshy.. but it's become one of my favourites. There is this really addictive moss note that sings through the whole perfume and lasts all day. I have lots of compliments from this perfume and some days I actually crave it. It smells like yellow and green to me .. clean and slightly sparkling .. it's lemonade on the top .. damp mossy earth in the bottom. I will always buy this. It feels medieval - in a good way.
Great scent
I bought this fragrance blind. After the first spray, I decided it wasnt anything special and put it away in the cupboard. However, after more than a year, I decided to give it another chance. The opening is just as tacky as I remember, dominated by synthetic raspberry before a beautiful rose comes to the forefront. The base is woody and very pleasant; I can also detect musk, even though it is not listed among the official notes. I have the impression that the fragrance needed time to mature, as it is now noticeably more enjoyable than I remember. That being said, it still doesn’t impress me greatly. It’s more of an everyday, safe composition, without a wow factor. Longevity is around five hours, with average projection.
When I first purchased, I thought it was weak. I like the smell alright, it just didn’t last long or project as well as I expected. After a year of aging in a dark drawer, it has turned into something beautiful. It now performs much better.
This is a heavy, intense and complex chypre. The opening features slightly spicy citrus notes with ginger, followed by a strong combination of incense, flowers and fruits, with a generous amount of honey. The base is deep and rich, woody and leathery, with amber and musk; slightly smoky and balsamic. There is a lot going on in this fragrance, but for me it is simply overwhelming. It fills the entire room, and after six hours I had to wash it off as it became too much for me.
This is a heavy chypre fragrance with a vintage feel. The composition is floral and herbal, with a touch of incense resting on a balsamic, woody base. Although I enjoy some vintage fragrances, this one doesn’t appeal to me, there is something in it that I find off-putting, possibly tarragon. Longevity on my skin is around five hours, with projection at arm’s length.
Thumbs up, that's all I can say compared to TL.
It’s a simple citrus composition with a balsamic, ambery base. It opens with bergamot, lightly sweetened by pear. After about an hour, the resinous, ambery base comes to the fore and the scent becomes more woody. The projection is very poor, and the fragrance disappears after around three hours.
