Post First Impressions: This is a classic barbershop style scent from the 80s, I get a lot of mossy green aromatics, an earthy patchouli, all backed by a sweet honey that prevent in many powerhouses from the era (Givenchy Gentleman, Kouros, Hugo Boss No. 1). Though this is compared often to Givenchy Gentleman, I fail to see them as similar scents, yes they both contain patchouli and honey, however Giorgio Beverly Hills lacks the gorgeous musky animalic leather/civet, Giorgio Beverly Hills is slightly more aromatic and cleaner smelling compared to Givenchy Gentleman.
