Amber vs Ambergris | What's The Difference? + Favorite Amber And Ambergris Fragrances
Today I discuss what Amber and Ambergris are in Fragrances. What are the differences between Amber and Ambergris? Do you enjoy these notes? Which is your favorite Amber or Ambergris? How are they similar? How are they different? All discussed in today's video.
AMBER:
-Amber note does not exist in nature but it’s created by mostly combining several ingredients in nature and those ingredients include resins, balsams, vanilla, and spices.
Resins could include labdanum (rock rose), benzoin, styrax maybe myrrh
What is Labdanum? A Resin obtained from the shrubs of the labdanum plant
Balsams could include: Tolu Balsam, Peru Balsam
Sometimes includes Tonka Beans to create that amazing Amber smell
-This is a key Oriental Accord. Oriental Fragrances are my favorites and Amber Fragrances are some of my favorite styles of Oriental Fragrances.
