My Signature

There are no fragrances I'm aware of that are able to replicate the scent profile of Carlisle. This is a wonderfully unique fragrance that mixes the earthiness of patchouli with a blend of oriental spices. Though this claims to be a unisex fragrance, it comes off very masculine in my opinion. A powerful scent, this is one that you can get away with 4-6 sprays, while still getting the longevity out of the fragrance. The only issue I have with Carlisle is the price tag. As a premier blend, it is rarely found on sale through discounters.
I'm not sure why I took so long to purchase this fragrance. Chanel has got some amazing scents. The peppery citrus note mixed with a woody/amber undertone is the perfect combination for a signature scent. This is now my daily wear, and I will certainly be using it for every occasion and every season.
Divine Vanille may have top notes of spice added to the profile, but I'm hard pressed to really pick up any anything past the vanilla. Don't get me wrong, the vanilla carries an amazing aroma. But, this fragrance is pretty linear from front to back, in my opinion. For the price, you would be better suited going with the Cremo Spice and Black Vanilla, as Cremo has a more complex profile to it for a fraction of the price. Do I like this scent? I do. Would I bu it again? Probably not.
I’ve been intrigued by the Xerjoff house for a minute now. So, I thought the much hyped Erba Pura fragrance would be a suitable starting point. This scent was not quite what I expected. It’s heavy on the fruit, right off the bat. I don’t pick up the citrus components in the profile, nor the vanilla. Upon applying, you get the sense that you are simply drowned in a can of fruit cocktail. The scent reminds me 100% of the fruity body sprays that girls loved in junior high. That’s all I pick up from this fragrance. I feel like a Barbie doll wearing it, as I’m a bit more on the masculine nature. I can’t pull it off. However, this is a very nice scent, and it’s perfect for the female demographic. I could easily rate this a 5 star for female. But, as a male, this is a 3 star scent at best. So, I split the difference. The projection and longevity are fantastic. Ladies, this one is perfect for you, if you are a fruity scent lover. Men, consider an alternative Xerjoff fragrance like Naxos.
Sedley is a great, fresh, Sprite-type of scent. Very good for the warmer months. The woodiness is more present, but subtle in the drydown, which is fantastic. Everyone will have a different opinion on this, but it only lasts 4-5 hours for me personally, and that is with minimal projection. I find that this scent sits really close to the skin. If it was more of a 10 hour scent, this would be a 5 star. It is still a fantastic fragrance, and my personal preference over Greenley for the summer.
This is a fantastic, simple scent that I would consider for any occasion, at any time of the year. The opening is very citrus heavy, in a good way. After a couple of hours, the woodiness of the patchouli really becomes noticeable. Longevity is solid. I got about 5-6 hours on skin, and 7-8 on clothes, but I am a chronic oversprayer. I held off on buying this for as long as I could, for whatever reason. But, it's in my collection to stay now. Great for everyday wear.
I finally got a chance to try Oajan. I'll admit, I had high expectations for this fragrance. Well, it delivered. This scent is better than Althair, in my own opinion (no disrespect to Althair). But, they really nailed the amber vanilla vibe here. This is on my very short list of fragrances to buy for the fall. Absolutely worth the hype.
I love almost everything Georgio Armani when it comes to cologne. This fragrance has a very nice aquatic scent with some subtle fresh spice additions. The scent is phenomenal. Unfortunately, on my skin this fragrance has no lasting power, nor protection. I find myself using 15 sprays minimum. It sits very close to my skin. If I could muster more than a few hours of longevity on this fragrance, it would definitely be a 5 star.
This is a criminally underrated fragrance. The coffee note is quite subtle, but very pleasant. The citrus note from the bergamot is noticeable right off the bat, but doesn’t carry throughout the day. The subtle coffee dry down is partnered with a touch of woody notes from the vetiver. The scent profile is ridiculously simple, but effective. This fragrance would easily be a 5 star across the board, but the longevity is poor, and the projection is poor after the first hour.
