The opening is super spicy, from the sichuan pepper. Dont dismiss it just yet, because when it opens up it is absolutely fantastic. Super rich and deep caramel, backed up by patchouli and a slight salt note. it is not overly sweet at all. Dark and but approachable, it is perfect for a night out or date.
Very manly in my opinion, and the performance is insane. I usually only do max 2 sprays, and only 1 if im wearing it more casually. The trail this leaves is really really good, and it lasts forever. Dont spray it on your clothes at all haha. 10/10 for me
Even though my ratings on this are not that generous, it is a very nice fragrance its just overpriced. To me, this is a creamy ambroxan and citrus fragrance, accompanied by light floral touches and slight spice from ginger especially.
I personally really enjoy this fragrance, the longevity is not crazy but it is definately alright. The sillage is strange, sometimes people smell it just fine and other times its very close to the skin.
It is a very likeable scent, maybe my most complimented. This fragrance DNA (bvlgari tygar) has slowly been taking over, but is not yet mainstream IMO. Fragrances like l'immensite, vibrato and ginger infusion are very popular, and are frankly a bit better than this overall. This would be a better if the price was 30% lower. Even then, i often reach for this and it is a good fragrance.
This fragrance shapes to the wearer. On women this is perceived feminine and on men masculine, in my experience.
Has a powdery citrus in the top accompanied by the rose which stays throughout. The opening is a little soapy, but quickly dissapates down to a powdery patchouli - rose scent, which might sound very feminine but for me is completely unisex.
I am not generally a huge Montale or Mancera fan, but this is both unique, likeable, unisex and perfect for everyday, all seasons. The performance is great too.
Starts of boozy, with fresh apple and manderin in the top. This is backed by vanilla, smoky deep patchouli and woody notes. Its slightly comparable to angels share, but it is darker, more masculine and more 3 dimensional if that makes sense. Its dry, dark and only has a slight sweetness. Cuts through the cold no problem, and the longevity is for me 10-12 hours.
The oud in this is very "tame", not skanky or pungent. Dry, dark, smoky and woody. Not for hardcore oud lovers, but a very nice introduction to the ingredient.
It is kind of a hidden gem, most people dont really give Brioni the time of day but they should. This is the perfect night out, date or fall fragrance. Will rebuy once i run out.
