This is definitely the most versatile Tuberose which I know and which I have. Hauto is really enjoyable, comfortable and sensual and this is one of the rare Tuberose scents where it is balanced and somehow restrained. So if you are sensitive with many Tuberose scents and think those are too strong you can give this a chance. Hauto (with ^ on the top of u) is Esperanto and it means “skin” and that tells a lot of this amazing scent. “Hauto is an invitation to experience the fragrance of skin.” In the opening you can get a hint of Ananas which stays faint in the background for a while. Tuberose is strong in the opening but it’s sensitive and “friendly”. Rose and spices are barely noticeable. Tuberose somehow melts into the skin with amazingly soft Musk base. All those together create something unique which actually is like a second skin in the tempting, sensual, sophisticated way. I fell in love with this scent again and again every time I wear it. The simple, elegant 30ml bottle is adorable and easy. “During the Roaring Twenties, French Cancan dancers in the celebrated cabarets of Paris had their own very specific perfume rituals. It is said that they perfumed “every hill and valley” — wherever they wanted to be kissed.” Thank you for reading and I would appreciate a lot if you want to follow me on IG: @ninamariah_perfumes
Female leaning I like to wear this scent during the summertime and I fell in love with two years ago while testing it in hot Italy weather. How is this beauty? It opens up with a juicy Strawberry and Wild Strawberry notes and I love it. It’s quite sweet since there is a caramel note as well but woody and leather notes push the sweetness down after the dry down. I think this is so special for me since wild strawberry brings me back to my childhood memories when picking up those and when stringing them into the hay. I don’t get any Raspberries but I think it blends into Strawberries. This is not typical light girly Strawberry scent, it’s unique like all SHL:s creations. There is all the time certain kind of depth in the background. Juice vibe turns into soft Vanilla and Tonka but I can smell the hint of the Strawberry until the end. During the cold days this is not so beautiful but it’s just my opinion. Anyway this is really different in cold than in really hot so I recommend to test how it differs in your skin. All that synthetic feeling disappears in hot and all the notes are blending better. The hotter the better. Strawberry and caramel melt on my skin into very intoxicating sweet aroma. In wintertime I'm wondering why I even have this perfume and when the summer arrives I remember why I fell in love with this scent. I have noticed that some people compare this to La Capitale by Xerjoff and even think that’s this is redundant if you already have La Capitale but imo there is nothing same how these two perform. There is many same notes in those two and it looks like a same but especially Strawberry note is very different in those. La Capitale is really delicate compared to this. This has more character and a deeper woody touch. I think there is different occasions to wear those. Unisex, male leaning I have to say that when I saw the notes of this perfume first time I knew that I will love this. What I didn’t know was how delicious, passionate, sexy, interesting and rich blend it is without being too sweet despite of many sweet notes. There is a perfect balance with spicy and woody accords with sweet Vanilla and Caramel and I adore boozy Rum here! Leather note with Rum is lingering just right amount to remind me of Black Sabbath’s legendary guitarist Tony Iommi whose vision what rock 'n' roll in the late '60s is created to olfactive experience. His dark riffs has been replaced with different kind of notes to give us an amazing adventure for the senses and souls. 🎶🎵 I would say this is a masterpiece. This is something which I was missing for my collection and I was so sad while it was sold out and I didn’t know if there is coming more or not. I wasn’t in time to get the signed crystal bottle but I’m fine with this normal one, it’s so beautiful outside and inside. 💯💎 I highly recommend to sample and give it time to grow on you! I was thinking for a couple of weeks that my blind buy was a mistake but no, it really was a big favor to my senses. Sorry my English, I have a lot to say of this one of my favorite perfumes but translating everything I wanted to say is difficult since I don’t want to use only boring words to describe this 😅 •Bergamot, Rhum, Bulgarian Geranium, & Passion Fruit •Cinnamon, Bulgarian Rose, Patchouli From Singapore & Leather •Sandalwood, Vanilla, Caramel, Labdanum & Musk, Ambergris & Tonka Bean (from Xerjoff’s) I have seen this compared to many perfumes and I disagree everything what comes to the next ones which I own: Richwood and Angel’s Share. You can find my reviews of those too. I don’t see this same kind of like PDM Oajan, TF Tobacco Vanille or Kilian Black Phantom or Xerjoff Golden Dallah either. Those I have been testing a lot. Of course there is some notes together but honestly I don’t see any of those redundant if you have some of those. But we have to remember that all of us experience scents in very own personal way so we can’t judge other people’s opinions. Unisex (leaning male) Fragrance story: “Smoldering with addictive sensuality, a burning splash of rich dark rum defines the opening, its sweet gourmand chord is softened by creamy vanilla and dried fruit. Spicy patchouli pairs with the fresh, woodsy scent of cedarwood to finish, finding animalic harmony at long last.” (From website) My thoughts of this scent Addictive sexuality: I find this perfume really sexy. It’s really seductive and amazingly unisex. Rich dark Rum: Rum is really soft and well blended. It’s like from very old barrel making boozy note luxurious instead of harsh cheap Rum. It’s boozy but not in the sharp way. It makes this perfume interesting. Nutmeg and Vanilla makes Rum to linger in sophisticated way and even if it’s listed in the opening I can get sensual Rum vibe all the time. It’s sweet gourmand: There is just right amount of sweetness to make this blend a pleasant experience but this definitely is not sweet like mostly gourmands are. I don’t even think this as a gourmand. Vanilla makes other notes soft but it’s so well blended there that I don’t detect it as gourmand way. Finding animalic harmony: Since I’m a big fan of animalic scents this is definitely not animalic. There is Musk but it’s rather soft Musk in the base together with Patchouli and Cedarwood so don’t be afraid of any animalic vibes here. The only animalic thing which I get here is that if my husband wear this I feel an extra animalic, addictive, sexual attraction to him. 💁🏽♀️😅🔥 I highly recommend to sample and this maybe needs time to grow on you. I had many samples, didn’t like it first but I took it once again and since that I have loved this scent so much.❤️🔥 Thank you for reading and I would appreciate a lot if you want to follow me on IG: @ninamariah_perfumes
“Sayat Nova is a fragrance inspired by the legendary 18thCentury Armenian poet and troubadour of that name. The scent evokes the romantic mysticism of exotic lands and bygone centuries. This exceptional creation fuses dark and intense woody tones with rich and luscious sweetness. Like the famous balladeer himself, Sayat Nova inspires images of romance, opulence and unbridled passion.” -a note from the brand. That note from the brand is exactly what this creation is. This scent is really unique and I'm sure there won't be another one like it. Apricot and Narcissus in the opening creates an irresistible combination with rum and vanilla which are the middle notes. Those together with flowery aromas create an auspicious combination and nuance in a high-quality Oud base, which is a composition of ouds from Laos, Bengal and Trat. Oakmoss in the base brings the classic earthy nuance. There is a strong smoky feeling in this scent which is not a tobacco kind of. That smoke stays there all the time until the end and it's truly unique and a way too much for many. This perfume is really complex, it’s challenging, definitely not for beginners and everytime I wear it I experience something new. The lasting power is amazing, eternal. Sayat Nova is strongly male leaning, there is nothing feminine in it but I think it's beautiful regardless. Be aware that the juice is very dark and oily so it can't be washed away from light clothes. I only wear black or brown with this scent and the latter one describes this scent best. “A high concentration of perfume oils ensures great tenacity and the natural ingredients allow the fragrance to evolve and reveal many subtle, complex and beautiful nuances upon each application. Those who enjoy sweet and sumptuous scents and those who adore the endless intricacies of oud will find much in which to delight.” In this case I partly wanted to quote the company's description of the fragrance, because my own English is not good enough to describe this artistic fragrance as it deserves. This is a diamond 💎 💎 💎 💎 💎 > IF YOU HAVE THIS AND STÉPHANE HUMBERT LUCAS’ Mango Kiss, try that combo: it’s amazing! XERJOFF: Indochine Oud Stars Collection Nose: Chris Maurice Unisex I love and respect this perfume even if it’s a synthetic mess. 😅 If I smell this when it’s too warm for this scent I hate it and I’m thinking to sell it straight away. Today when it’s-10c it treated me better. There is missing nothing and there is nothing too much - the perfume is a great strange blend of fruits, flowers, musk and oud. This opens up with a juicy fruity strawberry splash which is a little bit shampoo like and harsh first. Strawberry as a note is difficult as well to keep there after an opening but I can get a hint of it for long time and it gets better after 30 min. Flowers start to shine quickly after the opening as well but this is not rosy one even if the rose is there. Other notes are so strong that if you think this is rosy oud, it’s not. This is fruity and sweet, a little bit tropical even if those kind of notes are not listed, but definitely this is a strong scent and oud (feels very synthetic as well) is really present all the time in this. The sweet note is not sugary or syrupy one, not even from vanilla, it comes from fruits. I don’t get any Vanilla vibe from this. And what comes to the longevity: it’s eternal. This is a unique blend and maybe a little bit challenging one but not because of Oud - this can be cloying and too sweet. Somehow it’s addictive and if you like fruity ouds, you should definitely sample this! Top: Strawberry, Pink Pepper & Freesia, Brasilian Orange Middle: Muguet & Peony, Bulgarian Rose Base: Blend Of Ouds, Agarwood & Musk, Vanilla Madagascar (From Xerjoff site) Thank you for reading and I would appreciate a lot if you want to follow me on IG: @ninamariah_perfumes
There is only three scents in Gulf Collection which is not discontinued and this is one of those. Qatar smells rich, expensive and gasoline like blend with the key ingredients: Peach, Pear, Candyfloss, Casmir Wood, Aoud, Saffron, Labdanum, Musk. I get leathery vibes as well from Labdanum. This is like driving a luxury car with a finest leather seats and a huge tank of gasoline and the next day you have to fill the tank again. 🔥💸 I really don't know from where I get that gasoline vibe and I get the same from Sultanate of Oman but it's a pleasant one, somewhat abstract feeling. From the key notes you can get wrong kind of vibe of this juice because this is not so sweet imo and this is rather a dark and mysterious - and very complex. Oud as a note is very unique as well bringing a depth to the fruits. All those ingredients anyway has an important role here and without flowers in the heart notes this would be boring I think. I have to mention Cotton Candy since I like the idea a lot, it brings a distinct and intoxicating character to the juice and with that note is nice to add the sweet accord in the next level if wanted. In the dry down this amazing V12 sport wild beast turns a little bit more tame version but the smell itself doesn’t change so much. And it lasts and lasts. Like all Rojas this is so well blended that it’s really hard to separate all the notes. I love this scent a lot and it’s definitely a backup bottle worthy for me like The Perfume (previous post) as well. And if I spray once Love Don’t Be Shy sugar overload on top I’m in the heaven! Top: Citrus Notes Middle: Rose de Mai, Jasmin de Grasse, Violet, Pear*, Peach* Base: Clove, Saffron*, Patchouli, Cedarwood, Casmir Wood*, Sandalwood, Aoud*, Candyfloss Accord*, Benzoin, Vanilla, Orris Sur Cèdre, Orris, Styrax, Birch, Labdanum*, Ambergris, Musk* *key ingredients This perfume you have to experience yourself but sample it first. It is a beautiful scent, absolutely unisex but sweet. It creates amazing bubble around you. Honestly I would need another bottle since I'm afraid to wear this as much as I wanted to. Definitely Unisex and so sexy on men This iconic perfume is really well known and therefore widely reviewed so I try to concentrate those kind of things which I didn’t found so easily answers before I blind bought this. My questions were: Is this too spicy and is vanilla anyway the strongest note? This is not too spicy but this is strong. This is rather a fresh and really unisex and unique take on vanilla and that I like because it’s not sugar like or any kind of ice cream vanilla which kind of I only want to wear while sleeping. In the opening green notes, pepper and ginger gives a magical touch for vanilla, which is dominant note from the beginning until the last tinge of this unique long lasting high quality perfume. Cardamom continues the spicy touch in the drydown and all those spicy notes you can smell well blended until the end -those just fade away a little bit. Other base notes start to shine and together with vanilla and fresh vibe from Patchouli they give a soft, pleasant, cozy and sophisticated experience of this juice. This scent lasts and lasts and it really won’t leave you alone. This is not shy vanilla, this makes you stand out but it’s not what I was thinking based on reviews: too spicy or too sharp. Without those spices this would be just another ordinary vanilla perfume. If you like spicy notes even a little bit, you will love this blend. 💎 Thank you for reading and I would appreciate a lot if you want to follow me on IG: @ninamariah_perfumes
STÉPHANE HUMBERT LUCAS 777 Soleil De Jeddah Mango Kiss This is the most realistic fruity scent I've ever tested. This perfume opens up like a juicy natural Mango, just like biting into a ripe fruit and the juice is bursting out between your teeth. There is nothing synthetic or cloying vibe in this in any moment from the opening until the fruity creamy end. As this is not synthetic and the smell of mango is overpowering compared to others this is not so long lasting on it’s own. After 3-4 hours I had to spray more if I wanted to wear same scent but since I wear this kind of scent on the beach or maybe at the gym, the short longevity is not a problem for me. After those hours I maybe would change the scent anyway - but not because this is not good. This is as delicious as you can imagine! From those notes I really get Mango, Mango and Mango, and after the opening a beautiful delicious coconut, like a coconut sorbet and creamy Vanilla on the base. Other notes are really well blended there that it’s difficult to notice those. So if you don’t like some of those notes, don’t let those fool you. Coconut and Vanilla are really neutral as well. Mango Kiss name is well deserved, this is really mouthwatering! Maybe some of you is interesting what different is in this compared to God of Fire : this is MUCH more delicious and fruity juicy feeling lasts a way longer. It actually last until it fades away. It doesn’t change like GoF changes first from light fruity to woody notes and after that there is left just soft Amber Musk blend. On the other hand God of Fire is more complex and it's creamier. It's more versatile as well since Mango Kiss is so clearly the beach scent or for hot days. The best weather for this is summertime, no doubt. Personally I only wear this kind of scent on the beach. I spray it into my clothes and hair and get whiff here and there when the scent is dancing with the wind. This scent has been made to overspray. ROJA PARFUMS AOUD AND AMBER AOUD BOTH UNISEX I wanted to make a post of these Roja Dove’s two perfumes since there seems to be people who would like to know the difference of these two and if another one is redundant if you already have the other. You can check the differences from the notes of course but that doesn’t tell always how those similarities or/and differences appears. So here is my opinion. As I love Roja so much I have both: Aoud in 30ml and 100ml and Amber Aoud Crystal in 100ml. I like to have both and for me I feel that I need to have both. The difference is not so big for most of the people but it’s noticeable. Differences are: - Amber Aoud is slightly more sweet because of Fig in the opening and Benzoin in the base. - In the same time it’s warmer because of Ambergris and Benzoin in the base. (Ambergris is as well in Aoud but it’s not the main note.) - Aoud is more fresh and rosy. It’s more traditional Rose Oud scent. - Even if there is Saffron in both, Aoud is more earthy since there is less the main notes in overall so Saffron is easier to detect. - I would say that Aoud is not so complex than Amber Aoud. In Aoud it’s really easy to smell Rose, Saffron and Oud separately while in Amber Aoud its 5 different main base notes are really well blended. - Aoud is the first one of those three (Aoud, Musk Aoud, Amber Aoud) which Roja launched so it is like the most simple one. If you want a real Rose Oud scent go for Aoud, if you are not a huge fan of traditional Rose Ouds, you can love Amber Aoud. MY OPINION: If you like AOUD, you will like Amber Aoud as well but not automatically in the other way. These both perfumes are suitable in the same kind of occasions, they share the same kind of feeling and character despite of the differences. They are attractive, seductice, rich, complex, mesmerising, utterly luxurious and absolutely in among of the best scents ever. The juice of the original perfumes is very dark and it stains clothes permanently so Crystal versions of those scents are very practical. I love to wear these scents during a summertime and with white clothes so clear juice is great with them. The scent itself is identical with the dark, original juice, only the colour has been removed. Both perfumes are unisex. I hope this will help some people to choose between these two chic, captivating and mesmerizing perfumes. Musk Aoud is by the way totally different and unfortunately it’s discontinued due to the regulations of certain natural ingredients. I’m happy to own it as 30ml og and 100ml crystal (review is my 4th post). Thank you for reading and I would appreciate a lot if you want to follow me on IG: @ninamariah_perfumes
