This fragrance appears to be very popular for awhile now and I never understood the hype, as the notes did not sound like something I would usually try. But a few weeks ago I randomly tried some of the Byredo perfumes at the airport and the only one I liked, besides Gypsy Water, was Bal d'Afrique. The notes blend so well, so it creates this beautiful citrus/woody/floral scent. Very enchanting and I kept sniffing my arm. I see that this can be a safe blind buy but it might also smell different depending on how the notes work with the own chemistry. Thinking about getting a bottle in the future as this was a positive surprise to me.

My newest purchase is this pretty scent. I was able to find it by accident in a mall in Chiang Mai. All perfumes by Pañpuri are natural, oil based and follow a clean formula. Big plus for that. They smell all very nicely blended, no sharpness or chemical side notes, instead very natural and wholesome. I was looking for a mimosa scent for awhile, Memoria Mimosa captivated me from the first moment. The mimosa is very well blended, but most dominat in the top notes. It blends so well with the Cardamom and Vanilla, leaving an elegant scent trail. Based on the notes you might guess similarities to Mimosa and Cardamom by JM, which I see. The scent also reminds me of the discontinued version of Dream Angels Heavenly, which I used to have years ago. For me this is a perfect blend of memories and the mimosa I was looking for, therefore happy I found this one.

I am a huge Ex Nihilo fan and this one is surely among my favorites. It starts off with a blend of mandarin orange, powdery pepper and slight hints of Mimosa. Ylang Ylang is always in the background, and gives this scent depth and warmth from start until the end. The vanilla comes through a bit later and provides the sweetness. Vesper Glitz is an elegant scent, almost too chic to wear casually. It is great to wear for a special occassion or on a date, it surely works for night outs as well. Very good scent with nice lasting power, would be happy to have this in my collection one day.
