This smells like a generic ambery blue designer perfume. Perhaps once you spend this sort of money your brain isn't capable of being objective any more, but I just had a sample and I doubt I'll even use that up. If I'm being generous I'd say it stands up to Uncut Gem, but I prefer Uncut Gem, it's more interesting.

Smells incredible, much more wearable than the EDP. While it opens similar, it blooms into a jasmine fanfare with subtle tobacco and leather underneath, a much more complex ride than the harsh original. Also, here the patchouli is much quieter (for there is patchouli), arriving much much later and not bumming me out like it does in the EDP. The violet note is beautiful, akin to Portrayal Man, and so reminiscent of the original daddy, Farenheit. For a brand that is cynical, and does cynically churn out duff flanker and overpriced cash-grab dross, this one stands out as a, I'm gonna say it, a masterpiece.

Something scratchy, harsh and horrible lurks not very far below the surface of this one. Heavy-handed aroma-chemical soup resembling chai tea but only as much as a cheap soap or shower gel could.

Ambroxan overdose with Campbell's cream of mushroom soup, some pepper and herbs sprinkled on top.

Very lovely sweet Guerlain-like opening fading to powdery tonka. It's lovely but not at all original, and does smell somewhat dated. It reminds me of a dusty parisian shop selling dolls and mirrors and such, powdery vanity realness from a bygone era. Not at all like Shalimar to my nose except for the general guerlinade element.

Smells like a nasty, cheap, designer sports fragrance. Massive calone with all of the most generic men's aquatic elements from the 90s.

강렬하고 숨 막히는 크림과 나무 향 위에 초록색/흰색 꽃 향이 얹혀 있습니다. 오프닝이 너무 강렬해서 거의 견딜 수 없을 정도인데, 드라이다운이 마법을 가져다줄지 기다리고 있습니다. 지금은 아름다운 무언가가 있지만 너무 잔인해서 동참할 수 있을지 모르겠어요 :( 1시간 후... 아, 드라이다운이 놀랍습니다. 아, 아모아주, 어떻게 내가 당신을 의심할 수 있었을까요. 공격적인 오프닝은 약간의 인돌릭 스캔크로 이어지고, 그 후에는 크리미한 샌달우드로 이어지며 초록색 튜베로즈의 기미를 유지합니다. 오프닝은 여전히 도전적이지만 드라이다운은 그만한 가치가 있습니다.

Nuclear strength neroli. Like, the neroli in this is as strong as the orange blossom in Beach Hut Man. So be careful with the sprays!

"몬스트러스(Monstrous)"라는 단어는 보통 메가마레(Megamare) 같은 향수에 사용합니다. 그 향수는 너무 합성적이고 집요해서, 노즐을 만지기조차 두려워할 정도입니다. 며칠 동안 그 냄새를 없애지 못할까 걱정되기 때문이죠. 하지만 비치 헛 맨(Beach Hut Man)은 몬스트러스하면서도 지배적이고 잔인하기보다는 매혹적이고 중독성이 있습니다. 이 향수와 비슷한 냄새는 전혀 없으며, 적절한 상황에서 착용하면 향수의 걸작으로 빛납니다. 그 상황은 프랑스 리비에라의 언덕에서 맑고 따뜻한 겨울 날씨 속에서입니다. 저는 1월에 니스 근처의 작은 산을 하이킹하러 갈 때 이 향수를 착용했는데, 그때 "이제야 이해가 가!"라고 생각했습니다. 이전에는 너무 과하다고 느꼈거든요. 실내에 있을 경우에는 너무 과한 향수일 수 있으며, 실내에서는 롤러로 한 번만 발라야 할 수도 있습니다. 어쨌든, 하이킹을 한 이후로 이 향수에 반하게 되었습니다. 오렌지 블로섬의 오프닝은 저에게 이 노트의 최고의 표현이며, 놀랍도록 좋고, 가슴 아프게도 덧없이 사라지며, 기이하지만 아름다운 나무와 초록의 조화를 남깁니다. 정말로, 이 향수는 노트들이 하나의 응집된 향으로 매끄럽게 섞이는 그런 향수 중 하나이며, 구별하기 위해서는 정말로 눈을 가늘게 뜨고 봐야 합니다. 순수한 천재성입니다. 업데이트: 새로운 포뮬레이션을 받았습니다. 조금 숨을 쉬면서 열리고 변화하기를 바랍니다. 지금은 실망스럽습니다. 이 향수는 제가 가장 좋아하는 향수 중 하나이며, 오프닝은 매번 저에게 기쁨을 줍니다. 하지만 여기서는 이야기가 다릅니다. 민트 노트가 다릅니다. 사실, "You Or Someone Like You"에서 사용된 같은 저렴한 민트 냄새가 나며, 같은 고양이 오줌 뉘앙스가 있습니다. 더 이상 스피어민트가 아닙니다. 오렌지 블로섬은 어디에도 보이지 않습니다. 시야주(Sillage)는 원본에 더 가까운 냄새가 나지만, 가까이에서 맡으면 저렴한 복제품 같은 냄새가 납니다. 나쁘지 않은 냄새지만, 제 사랑이 망가졌다는 사실에 슬프게 만듭니다. 업데이트: 처음 착용했을 때의 상처를 겪은 후, 재포뮬레이션에 대해 마음이 열리고 있습니다. 예전 버전을 이길 수는 없겠지만, 그 자체로 좋은 향수입니다. 원본보다 약간 더 공손하여 직장에서도 유용할 수 있습니다. 미르(Myrhh)는 처음부터 더 뚜렷하게 느껴지며, 아주 먼 드라이다운은 원본과 더 비슷한 냄새가 납니다. 무엇이 부족한지 정확히 짚어낼 수는 없지만, 그 무엇이 10/10(저의 유일한 만점 향수)에서 아마도 8/10으로 떨어뜨리는 요소입니다.

For such a cheap perfume, this offers a really lovely, quality incense and resin bouquet, it's totally unique and doesn't have any scratchy, cheap smelling crap underneath. The only gripe I could have is that it doesn't last too long but for the price I'm happy to reapply. The soapy, elemi opening with its light floral tones puts me in mind of vintage Amouage, like maybe silver man and/or opus I.
