If you've been watching fragrance videos on YouTube for the past few years, you've probably seen a video trend pertaining to spending $250 on fragrances as a beginner. I even did a video like that a couple years back.
This video is more than that. While I am offering 5 functional and purposeful recommendations to a beginner, I am also addressing the issue of non-beginners letting this hobby get out of hand.
Many of you will disagree, but if you have a growing collection of 20 or more fragrances, you have no need to spend $250 or any large amount of money on multiple bottles (especially ones you haven't smelled yet). Slow down!
You don't need me to tell you how overwhelming it can be when acquiring starts feeling like too much. So also contained in this video is my advice and tips for the more seasoned fragrance enthusiast. If you'd like to avoid, or at least slow, the feeling of remorse and jadedness that can come with acquiring more than you need too quickly, I hope you find this helpful.
