Why aren’t more people talking about Parfum d’Empire? I’ve been exploring this house since around 2012–2013, and Ambre Russe was one of my earliest amber fragrance loves. I loved it enough to buy a 500ml bottle!

Today, I’m taking you through 13 Parfum d’Empire fragrances, sharing my favorites, the ones I find more challenging, and which ones I’m reaching for these days. From boozy amber and animalic musk to green fragrances, leather, vanilla, and lush white flowers, there’s so much to explore.

Ambre Russe remains a favorite, but Le Cri is another standout. And if you enjoy animalic fragrances, we definitely need to talk about Musc Tonkin! Not everything connects with me in the same way, so I’m sharing what works for me and what doesn’t.

I’m also exploring more of Marc-Antoine Corticchiato’s work beyond Parfum d’Empire, with bonus fragrances from Roberto Greco, JCB, and La Parfumerie Moderne.
