This is my Tom Ford Ombre Leather 16 Review. Ombré Leather 16 basically means Shadow Leather 16. Tom Ford Private Blend Collection launches another fragrance and this time a leather dominant perfume. Tom Ford Ombré Leather 16 is a dry but very rich leather perfume with the dominant notes of black leather, violet leaves and jasmin with additional notes of patchouli, white moss and cardamom. Tom Ford Ombré Leather 16 is mostly the black leather, the violet leaves and jasmin to me. The rest of the notes do come into play but much towards the end of the life of the perfume on me.
If you think this is at all like Tuscan Leather then you better think again. I own a bottle of Tuscan Leather and I find it a bit tough to wear. I like what it's all about but I rarely gravitate towards it but with Tom Ford Ombré Leather 16 I'm happy to say I do pull for it, and really enjoy wearing it. It's not until the end or in the dry down that you start picking up hints of something that smells a bit like Tuscan Leather but Ombré Leather 16 is all very original and beautiful. Even though it's a dry leather perfume there are hints of rich, creamy butteriness in there either from the violet leaf note or the jasmin sambac.
