This video breaks down the latest Mystery Box from The Perfume Guy, which included 36 items total: 35 fragrance samples and one hand cream. The box sold out in roughly 36 hours and represents one of the larger Mystery Box drops we’ve done.
I go through each fragrance included, sharing brief impressions and context to help you understand what was in the box and how these scents fit into the wider niche fragrance landscape. This video can be used as a reference while testing your samples or revisiting them over time.
The selection covers a broad range of styles, including oud, amber, vanilla, musk, gourmand, woody, spicy, and floral compositions. It features a mix of newer releases and established niche offerings.
This is likely the final Mystery Box until spring, with the next planned drop around May. There may be a small number of limited odds-and-ends boxes available in the store, including larger boxes made up of past Mystery Box and Scent Club samples.
Vanilla Mudslide is also mentioned in this video. The fragrance sold out quickly after the recent release, but a limited number of Scent Club kits featuring it are still available. Once those are gone, the next restock is expected later in the winter after maturation.
