"Italiano Widow by The Dua Brand is an exquisite fragrance that combines the best elements of Xerjoff Casamorati Italica and Kilian Paris Black Phantom. With a concentration of Extrait de Parfum, this unisex fragrance is designed to provide long-lasting appeal throughout the day. Italiano Widow is inspired by the sweet and intoxicating qualities of both Italica and Black Phantom, creating a fusion that is both irresistible and addictive. The brand, known for its high-quality perfumes, has crafted this fragrance to evoke the sensation of being in a bakery surrounded by delicious baked goods. As the cold weather approaches, Italiano Widow is the perfect scent to keep you smelling enticing all day long.
The notes in Italiano Widow include dark rum, lactonic notes, vanilla, saffron, butter toffee, cedar wood, sugar cane, dark chocolate, coffee, caramel, almond, Javanese vetiver, heliotrope, white musk, and sandalwood. This unique combination of ingredients creates a fragrance that is rich and complex. The dark and sweet tendencies of coffee and caramel enrich the blend, while the dark notes of vetiver and cedar add depth and longevity. Italiano Widow belongs to the olfactory group of Oriental Fougere due to its warm and sensual composition that combines amber with herbal and woody notes."
On initial spray it smells unbelievable! Love every second of it.
However, on the dry down, it seemed very spicy, I’m not sure which spice, almost curry like? I still really enjoyed the dry down, I just wasn’t expecting that when many say it’s quite sweet.
Overall, very much enjoyed it but not for a full bottle. I'll stick with 10ml decants.
I just got this yesterday and I love it! Its smoky, ambery, sweet, plumy and you get that fresh hit of taif rose. For the price this is a must have in my opinion. If you love dark, sexy, sweet but not too sweet fragrances, get this.
Just put this masterpiece in your hair and see how people react around you. This scent profile is so nice. Familiar but blended in a very modern and stylish perfume. I am not a fan of rose ESPECIALLY in Middle Eastern perfumes but this one is so so so sexy. Definitely unisex and for sure suitable for many occasions and moods. Love that it stays fresh (probably spicy note) in the dry down. But also the sweet almost jammy note is appearing gracefully during all the time. The bottle is beautiful and minimalist which for my taste it’s a win! Hopefully everyone who tried it will enjoy as much as me.
I can understand why so many people love Tonka Cola, but unfortunately, this one just isn't for me. The opening actually caught my attention with that Coca-Cola accord, and for the first five seconds, I was loving it. Then the sweetness kicked in, and it quickly became too synthetic for my taste.
The dry-down turns into a sweet vanilla amber with the cola still lingering in the background. I love gourmands, but this one crosses the line into smelling almost like I've spilled a root beer float all over myself. 😂
I really wanted to enjoy this one, but I just couldn't get past the sweetness. I ended up selling my bottle, which says it all. I'll give it credit where it's due, it definitely makes its presence known.
Not a bad fragrance by any means, just not my cup of cola!
Arabian Orient-2023 A Montagne Parfums Original
Opening: lemon, cardamom and geranium are very present right away. The combo gives an almost Oud-y vibe, although none is listed in the notes. Caramel is peaking though giving a rich sweetness as a bit of a foundation for the other top notes. Strong geranium note in the air- this seems quite potent! Saffron adds a bit of a medicinal quality to it- not unbearable but certainly distinct. I can almost see the thought process behind it in trying to balance out the sweeter notes, but I’m not quite sure this was the best note to pick in this instance.
Mid: Saffron definitely sits as a prominent note now. The notes together give a bit of a jammy-rose vibe.
Drydown: caramel has left the building. Predominately saffron and the raspberry lingers on. Still giving wide projection and sillage in the air. Bit of the floral aspect still remains.
This brand has consistently made high quality dupes of well-known and niche perfumes. Their nose has branched out to offer a handful of original creations, this is the best of them. Though I do object to its name mainly because of the colonial influence of using Orient or Oriental to describe warm Ambery notes.
I'm a Gen X'er who came of age in the era of the first unisex frags (CKOne) so for me, there's nothing like a 90s perfume. I'm only just discovering Burberry Touch and find it manages to bridge the chasm between then and now by sporting aspects of 90s perfumes that I loved so much while still feeling modern, even in 2026.
The berry combo up top is lead by the black currant, with a splash of freshness from the cranberry peaking in enough to keep it from being syrupy. The pepper actually tickles my nose the first couple minutes, it too keeps it grounded and provides a great opening for the florals.
The mid brings the soapy white florals and a sweet peony. The mid is owned by the peach, peach with black currant is a strong combo because they don’t go away. They mix with the vanilla and cedar, taking it down to meet the white soapy florals.
The dry down is nice, very intimate, hence Touch. This is not a slap you in your face fragrance. You will have a little bubble, but not trailing through rooms. It is a strong DNA done softly, if that makes sense. Longevity is good, solid, you will get a work day out of it. You will smell nice, warm, & clean when a person leans in.
Touch is steadfast. I find it well-blended, comforting, and rather unique in my collection. I feel confident, wise, and capable when I wear it. There's nostalgia here, but also modernity in a classic way.
Sillage is moderate but longevity is amazing...9 hours so far and still breathing in vanilla, cedar, with some fading tuberose and Lily of the Valley.
If you love jasmine and rose, then this is your perfume. It’s very photorealistic; there is a bit of sharpness at the beginning, slightly green, with a very light, airy musk. The ambery woody base lasts awhile. It has good longevity.
This does have hedione(high cis). It's great for that jasmine floral note, but it can leave you nose blind.
It's a lovely perfume, but I don't find many reasons to wear it. It's a little loud and bright for an everyday scent, but not complex enough for a date/special event. It's a good wear for anyone who loves jasmine/rose combos and smelling bright and happy.
I love the tuberose and the gorgeous magnolia notes. The musky vanilla compliments everything so well as a base.
I was looking for a perfume that smelled similar to Pureology's Color Fantastic Leave In Spray, was recommended Britney's CURIOUS. It was a blind buy since it's just so affordable and i am just so happy with it ! Miss the old bottles with pink heart charms off a chain, but it's still such a pretty bottle for a drugstore perfume.
