So I thought Encens Suave Extrait would be an even more beguiling genie in a bottle. I know the hack of layering your skin with Fractionated Coconut Oil (a GREAT fragrance hack) before the scent so the molecules lock in and anchor themselves before getting sucked into the skin biodome black hole.

But I was disappointed. The Extrait just seemed to hover barely above a skin scent. Same thing with Santal Austral Extrait from the same house.

I learned a valuable ($) lesson. Sometimes the edp is actually quite "stronger" than the "extrait" or "intense" or whatever name the marketing geniuses can conjure up. I suppose for intimate moments the closer "skin scent" might be the sought for effect. But I just like people in the same room to experience the magic of a finely crafted witches brew faintly whispering in the air.
