I find this a very apt rendition of the Japanese concept of oboro, which means "hazy," "cloudy," or "dim." This is basically a less earthy/woody and more fresh version of Diptyque’s Kyoto--almost like a hybrid with Eau de Lierre, now that I think about it. A very nice floral rain scent (not petrichor, the after-the-rain, but the rain as it's falling), melancholic and naturalistic, like a faintly recalled memory. Rather than taking you to a place (a wet garden), it shows you an ink painting of it, minimalist and moody.
