Opens sweet and spicy on my skin. Cinnamon, cardamom balanced with the balsamic cirtus of elemi. Almost smokey woods are balanced with rich smooth vanilla.

Overall smell is incredible. Longevity and projection are also good. The price is the downside. Although I do believe Althair smells better (slightly sweeter/more vanillay) than its dupe Liquid Brun, I'm not sure I can justify spending the money with LB being far cheaper.
Althair est une bouteille de luxe pour l'hiver. Parfums de Marly a réussi à créer un vanillé masculin qui évite les écueils du trop sucré ou du trop simple. Grâce à ses notes de rhum, de bois nobles et d'absinthe, il possède une complexité et une profondeur rares dans ce registre. Ce n'est pas un parfum que l'on porte, c'est une seconde peau dorée et réconfortante que l'on revêt pour les moments les plus précieux. Un investissement olfactif qui vaut chaque centime.
Son caractère très chaud et intense le rend peu adapté aux saisons chaudes ou aux environnements très formels et discrets.
