I enjoyed the classic Alexandria II, so I was curious to see how this interpretation would perform. The fragrance opens with rose and spices, but almost immediately oud and a pronounced animalic note take centre stage, making the composition feel slightly overwhelming. As it develops, the scent becomes more powdery and a hint of amber starts to emerge in the background, although the animalic facet remains noticeable throughout. What I enjoy most is the woody, musky base with a touch of unsweetened vanilla. Longevity is at least eight hours, with good projection. It’s a well blended, decidedly winter fragrance, best suited to those who appreciate bold, almost primal, animalic accords.

First I’ll start by saying, I don’t believe in gendered perfumes. This is my favorite sandalwood perfume. Simply love it. I wish I had the chance to smell the original.

On my skin, after about an hour, it begins to develop a lipstick-like accord, somewhat reminiscent of Lipstick Fever by JHAG, as if someone were just applying another coat of lipstick right beside me. Longevity is around four hours, with moderate projection.
This is perfect coconut scent for summer, its sweet tropical creamy coconut that gets me compliments every time I’m wearing it.
Asked for this as a birthday present. Stunning, vintage chypre style. Didn't think I liked cumin in perfumes but the combination works really well. Lasts on clothes for ages. Need to go to the opera more in order to have more occasions to wear this. Amazing!
Recently got a FB, already have the hair mist. Clean and cosy, with the rice steam note. Have worn it to hospital appointments and the dentists this week. Would work in an office if I worked in one!
Not much more than the scent of clean laundry or luxurious soap. Not for me, but definitely for someone.
Simply amazing
Starts off very strong and powdery, dissipates pretty quickly leaving a floral and sweet scent behind. Doesn’t last as long as other scents in my collection, having to re-apply during the day.

Before long, cherry takes centre stage, juicy and supported by a delicate balsamic undertone that gives depth. The base settles into a soft, comforting musky woody accord, warm like a cashmere scarf against the skin. It’s a fragrance like a sketch on white paper, minimalist, yet intriguing, leaving room for interpretation. Longevity is around three hours, after which the scent stays close to skin, which is quite surprising for a Fugazzi fragrance.
May not be for younger men's preference. I believe it is a smooth oud fragrance. For sure worth a test if you can get accesses to it. Just a well put together fragrance.
Inspired by Scandal Pour Homme Absolu by Jean Paul Gaultier Smells amazing. Longevity is good, maybe 6-8 hours. If you are looking for a cheap version of JPG Scandal Absolu this is it.
A fragrance you don’t need a master’s degree from ISIPCA to describe well. The opening is fresh, with tart blackcurrant and bergamot. After a while, however, the scent becomes sweeter, jasmine appears, ripe, rich, and intensified by vanilla. In the dry down, the vanilla blends with woody accords, turning velvety and very comforting. This fragrance reminds me of late June and the beginning of the summer holidays in Poland. I’m sitting on my grandmother’s porch, enjoying a slice of pleśniak (a crumbly cake with fluffy vanilla marshmallow and blackcurrant jam) while the air is filled with the scent of blooming jasmine. Longevity is around six hours, with good projection, you can smell it throughout the house. For me, it works best in winter, as in summer it can feel a bit overwhelming.
#This fragrance is not for me. It is NOT a good blind buy. I Smell the opening all day strong apple and flower scent. It has a hell of projection and last forever. the problem is I can't stand the smell of it.
This is my first fragrance from this brand. It opens with a sweet mango note, but unfortunately the mango fades quite quickly, giving way to a rather undefined blend of white florals. The overall impression is soft, creamy and very comforting. The scent doesn’t really evolve throughout the wear.
Longevity is around three hours, with a close to the skin projection.
The opening for me is horrible, but one thing about the Dries Van Noten house the fragrances take you on a full journey.
Upon initial spray it smells like BO, but when it officially dries down it turns into this sweet skin scent.
It doesn’t give me a vanilla scent, but more so a blend of woody, citrus, sweet skin-like smell. I can’t throughly pick up on vanilla & the tonka, however those notes play the background to give it a sweetness during the dry down.
I must say for it to be an EDT the longevity is excellent, moderate projection/sillage. It’s not offensive and can be worn at work/office like environment. Again skin like frag.
I can’t wait for it to macerate
The fragrance is highly distinctive. It opens with an exceptionally realistic whisky note, like the first sip of a strong spirit on a chilly evening somewhere in a dimly lit pub. This note is so intense that at first I can’t detect anything else. As the initial impression fades, dried apples emerge, accompanied by a subtle herbal nuance and woody accords, evoking an old pantry, wooden crates and herbs hanging from the ceiling. In this form, the scent remains consistent right through to the dry down. Longevity is around four hours with moderate projection, which I actually see as a positive, unless, of course, one wants to smell as though they’ve just come from a heavily boozy night out. This fragrance is definitely not for me, but it will undoubtedly appeal to lovers of characteristically “boozy” compositions.
This has a peppery-like opening then you get hit with a citrus, aquatic, salty vibe. I like the scent but the longevity is non-existent. for the price, it’s just not worth it. If I want this, I’d just go with Castley.
I’m not sure why, but I’ve always avoided perfumes with a rice note. This composition does indeed open with an accord of cooked rice, which fades very quickly. The rice is accompanied by a touch of acidity, I’m not certain whether it’s bergamot or perhaps buttermilk. After a while, the scent becomes sweeter, with notes of caramel, a buttery accord and vanilla. It is sweet, but not gourmand. The base is a very pleasant combination of woody notes and vanilla. The fragrance is pretty, but it doesn’t quite convince me. Longevity on my skin is also disappointing, after two hours I can only smell it on my jumper, and the projection stays close to the skin.
A must have in the collection. For the cost it is a pure complimenter all day long.

This is a bright, fruity floral. It starts off a bit tart thanks to the blackcurrant and grapefruit, but soon you get that sweet, juicy pear coming through with a bit of a kick from the pink pepper. The floral heart has a touch of pineapple that gives it a real boost of energy. It finishes with a nice woody vanilla base, but it stays fruity throughout. It lasts for approximately six hours with moderate sillage, creating a subtle aura around the wearer rather than a heavy trail.
An amazing aquatic, green fig fragrance, I would say you could wear this year round, but some would say spring and summer just because of the fig note.
