This is caramel in an unusual guise. The opening is a blend of salty caramel and pepper that practically pierces the nostrils. After a moment, patchouli and a hint of cinnamon join the caramel, giving the composition a more savoury character. The base is amber woody and slightly earthy, yet the caramel remains noticeable, although the overall impression definitely leans masculine. I wouldn’t describe this fragrance as a gourmand, there’s caramel, but as if stripped of its sweetness. I also don’t think it resembles Penhaligon’s Constance;as she is sweet, whereas Tero is not. Its longevity and projection are titanic, so I’d advise caution. It’s also not a scent that’s safe to blind buy.
Unfortunately, on my skin it smells like 100% leather and does not have any other notes. On paper I can distinguish some fruity notes and it feels more interesting.
This one surprised me.
A really deep and intriguing perfume. It makes me think of what Herod from PDM is missing for me. The profiles are similar, but something about Herod on my skin is just missing depth.
This has that and more. Really spicy dark patchouli, woody, spicy. The green from the patchouli and davana pairs beautifully with the leather, as does a sweet and gently smokey incense.
As it dries down, it develops into this beautiful honeyed tobacco with sweet spicy cinnamon and woods.
Since I own and enjoy the original Guidance, I decided to add the 46 version to my collection as well. It opens with pear, bitter almond and a generous dose of pink pepper. Unfortunately, I can’t detect any nutty notes, which is a shame. After a while, a rosewater-like nuance joins the composition. The base is woody and well balanced. Overall, it’s very creamy and very close to the original. Longevity on my skin is around six hours and the projection is very good. In my opinion, they’re not different enough to justify owning both bottles at this price.
It’s a fruity floral frag. The opening smells of sweet peach and jasmine, but the jasmine feels more green and fresh than rich and fully bloomed. After about an hour, sage, a touch of suede and sandalwood come through.Overall, it’s a pleasant and safe composition, but the longevity disappointed me. It sits close to the skin and disappears completely after 2–3 hours, at this price point, I expected more.
This is such an incredible scent.
The citrusy vanilla combo is absolutely amazing and well blended.
On the first minutes, you can clearly smell the green notes and this fizzy aspect.
The spicy notes remains for minutes and fades away to make this beautiful warn vanilla scent.
The citrusy aspect keeps all long but is toned down in the flow of the time.
10/10
Warm, woody, cosy, but interesting. Smells expensive and noble.
Black currant, but too simple and sweet, reminded me of kids perfumes. Small touch of cloves might have saved the day, but in my opinion not enough.
This was worth the buy and alternate with Dylan Blue on days of either casual outings or dare or just to have on at home
Today I needed something light and airy, so the choice was easy. Mon opens with crisp citrus notes, and before long lavender joins in, giving the fragrance a cooler feel. The heart is pleasantly floral and feminine, I get jasmine, orange blossom and ylang ylang, but lavender remains the main player throughout. Because the lavender is so dominant, it reminds me a lot of Libre Absolu. Only in the base does it turn sweeter, thanks to caramel and vanilla. Longevity on my skin is average, around four hours, and then it sits close to the skin.
Get this as soon as possible!!!
This is scent I love i tested as a gift for my dad I’m buying this asap for self as a Xmas gift
It’s a perfect blend of sweet, woody and smoky nuances. From the start you can clearly smell saffron, passion fruit and oud, I really love that opening. That opening for me resembles San Ysidro Drive from VB. Later on, tuberose comes through along with a touch of patchouli. The base is vanilla / amber, balsamic and slightly musky. I also pick up incense and woody notes quite clearly. The smoky accents are beautifully balanced, so the fragrance feels silky smooth and never overwhelming. Longevity and projection are excellent, little goes a long way.
Very good

Fresh, herbal, citrussy and salty, like a perfect margarita in the sunshine
Beautiful grown up vanilla with cardamom. Sexy and comforting.
I once received a sample and completely fell for it. The opening is a boozy cherry, it smells like a freshly opened bottle of good Kirsch. After a while, the scent settles down and, alongside the cherry, I can pick up caramel, vanilla and sugar. In the base, tonka stands out clearly, supported by a subtle woody notes. Overall the scent it’s very pleasant, but not cloying. Projection reaches about an arm’s length, and longevity is average, around 4 to 5 hours. I find it wears best in the evening and during the autumn winter season.
Needed some time to get used and understand it — first it felt like green leaves and something rotten. After a couple of days I liked it.
This is my latest rendezvous with this fragrance. I blind bought it once before, and sold it almost immediately because it made me feel nauseous. Recently, however, a colleague at work smelled absolutely gorgeous and it turned out she was wearing Divine, so I decided to give it another chance. And I have to admit, the magic works.
The scent is sweet & salty and refreshing. In the opening, I get sweet watermelon with a whisper of sea breeze. Later, white florals appear with jasmine at the forefront. In the base, you can pick up sweet meringue, musk and little patchouli. The whole composition is sweet but not sickly. Longevity and projection are very good, fragrance leaves a lovely trail behind and lasts on my skin all day.
Gorgeous powdery iris/violet fragrance reminiscent of old Hollywood glamour.
This is my all-time favorite vanilla fragrance. Perfectly balanced. I can't stand sickly sweet gourmands -- this is how I like my vanilla scents. Utterly beautiful, it's tragic that Atelier Cologne is no longer available here in the U.S. But hunting for this on eBay or Mercari could be worth it.
Beautiful powdery iris/violet fragrance that lasts a while on my skin, about 6-8 hours. I especially love it because it reminds me of my mother. I am immediately reminded of her lipstick (Revlon's Love That Red) and powder compact (probably Avon). It has a very retro vibe and I love that about it.
