This is a fantastic sweetened saffron on the same base that is present in several Bisch perfumes. That huge diffusive woody aroma chemical stuff - and it works brilliantly here.
It is simply put a piece of fragrance art. The take on a Safran field at dawn with a slight mineral touch, full of warmth and herbal-spicy richness, is done in an almost perfect way. Safran Secret gives the wearer a kind of journey of meditative glow and ”chiqueness“ throughout the day and it WILL preform all day, but without screaming or yelling for attention, it will grab it in the most elegant way. With me it starts with a mineral spring of fresh drops of thaw, slightly salty and metallic, giving the warmth of the sun coming up from the horizon with a woody edge and the full body, smoky warmth of deep fresh safran, as if you can allready smell it coming from a stew. throughout the day the metallic edge calmed down and goes to the backround and gets replaced by the woody notes and herbal sweet (but not sickly sweet) and savory touches combined with smoky goodness. To me this is as good as modern perfumery can get, in the same league as other briljant pieces of art like Encelade by Marc-Antoine Barrois And Enclave by Amouage . All gives something else and combines natural known scents like rhubarb, mint and safran and rethink in how it is used. 👌
