Basic Black, from Bill Blass was released in 1991. The perfumer behind this creation is unknown. It has the top notes of Bergamot, Cardamom, Carnation, Mandarin Orange, Peach, Plum, and Ylang-Ylang, middle notes of Carnation, Coriander, Honey, Jasmine, Rose, Tuberose, Violet, and Ylang-Ylang, and base notes of Amber, Benzoin, Civet, Coconut, Musk, Oakmoss, Patchouli, Sandalwood, Styrax, and Vetiver.
