Le 1940 Bleu de Chanel, from Chanel was released in 1931. The perfumer behind this creation is Ernest Beaux. It has the top notes of Aldehydes and Lily, middle notes of Currant Leaf and Bud, Cyclamen, Lily-of-the-Valley, and Violet, and base notes of Cedarwood, Sandalwood, and Vetiver.
