Macassar, from Rochas was released in 1980. The perfumer behind this creation is Nicolas Mamounas and Roger Pellegrino. It has the top notes of Artemisia, Bergamot, Fruity Notes, Green Notes, and Pine Tree, middle notes of Carnation, Cedarwood, Geranium, Jasmine, Patchouli, and Vetiver, and base notes of Amber, Coconut, Leather, Musk, and Oakmoss.
Smoked, burnt rubber. Possibly the most traditionally masculine smelling perfume I've ever smelled. This is what Tom of Finland by ELDO should have smelled like.
