Obsession for Men, from Calvin Klein was released in 1986. The perfumer behind this creation is Robert Slattery. It has the top notes of Bergamot, Cinnamon, Coriander, Grapefruit, Lavender, Lime, and Mandarin Orange, middle notes of Brazilian Rosewood, Carnation, Jasmine, Myrrh, Nutmeg, Pine Tree, Red Berries, and Sage, and base notes of Amber, Musk, Patchouli, Sandalwood, Vanilla, and Vetiver.
This was my signature scent for a few years in the 90’s. I still really like it and can really say I understand how that was such an influential frag for me. I still gravitate towards the warn spicy ambers. I’d like to say my taste has progressed but that must have struck a chord for me. I like many different types of fragrances (florals, animalics, green, and so on) but many of my most favorites are gorgeous, warm ambers. Thanks Obsession!
