So… how long have you been doing that then? 2016 — 1 week after leaving hospital with bacterial meningitis, I thought: f**k it, I’m starting a YouTube channel. Nobody watched, but everyone at work seemed to know.
— Ran out of perfumes to talk about, so I spoke about scents I remembered from working in an indie perfumery. People commented that they weren’t good reviews because I didn’t “own” those perfumes… I thought about stopping making videos.
— Bought my first fancy camera and started purchasing new fragrance releases to review. Received my first PR fragrance from Juliette Has A Gun.
— Cut my day job to 4 days a week to create more content. Started getting invited to influencer events.
— Lost my dad to Covid-19 at just 62. Realised life is too short to play safe.
— Met my future fiancé Steven. He said: Why don’t you start your own fragrance brand?
— Quit my job. Put my entire life savings into launching Soki London. You backed my Kickstarter. Empress was born — the ultimate #BossGirl fragrance.
— Released Aphrodite with a world-first long lasting tropical mango note. Won a Fragrantica Readers’ Choice Award.
— Launched Artemis. Secured retail partners in the Americas, Australia, and EU. @fragrancenet @

— Released Cleopatra. Signed with Boots the UK’s biggest cosmetics retailer — launching 15.08.25 @bootsuk @boots.ireland
💭 What’s next for the next 10 years? No idea. But I’m all in for the ride. 🚀
