A citrus bomb similar to PR Acqua Viva but without the longevity.
Even if I realize that the quality is not good I found the smell itself cozy. But absolutely the only occasion while I had wore this is when it’s 20 C minus ouside, I have to have a lot of clothes on when going to sleep and I just want some cozy scent on my clothes which I wish to have been disappeared until the morning comes. Maybe nice scent for teenagers but not this kind of niche fragrance addicted middle aged woman. 😅 This is a one purchase when I didn’t have my nice evening scents with me and I just bought quickly something cheap for sleeping. Anyway I don’t find this cloying at all, just soft musky coconut scent. I don’t notice patchouli so much. Thank you for reading and I would appreciate a lot if you want to follow me on IG: @ninamariah_perfumes
Weird synthetic banana smell, like H24.
Very green opening. Drydown is like Pehaligon's Lothair.
Okay so people who read my various reviews around the place will probably be either bracing themselves for a bile filled diatribe, or a contrarian 'hey it's not so bad' sort of review which will piss off my snobby fragrance pals who think I should be preprogrammed to shit all over this at first sniff. Well it's neither and both. I don't know if that's reflective of my lack of energy in discussing a bad perfume (make no mistake this is a bad perfume) but I just kinda want to blow a massive raspberry and throw my sample in the bin!
Opening is really interesting, spicy, fresh and woody and I just wanted to smell that more and more. Quite quickly it settles down and all that interesting part has disappeared and soft, powdery and a little bit herbal skin scent is left. Don’t get it wrong, what is left is beautiful. There is just a totaI chance from very strong opening to very soft drydown. I find this scent exactly how the main accords are listed and it goes in that order as well from opening to drydown which is rare. I don’t find here any booze or tobacco vibes or notes, no vanilla either. I sprayed 3 for each wrist but if you are whole day on the way prepare to have a bottle with you and re-spray a couple of times. For me poor longevity is not a problem because I like to change normally the scent 3 times during the day (home/gym/casual/evening/sleeping). This for example I wouldn’t wear at the gym but during the evening when meeting friends this would be perfect. If you like spicy notes I think this is a safe blind buy but if you don’t like I recommend to sample first. Thank you for reading and I would appreciate a lot if you want to follow me on IG: @ninamariah_perfumes
I was so curious of this scent first of all because I don’t like the idea of chocolate and orange. I don’t like at all those marmalade chocolates but I was thinking if I don’t test this I will miss something. Secondly I read that this is not so obvious gourmand so I wanted to find some more sophisticated gourmand in my collection. And yes! Like I was thinking about this I felt in love with this. So addictive beautiful blended scent and yes, this is really obvious chocolate and orange and I just like it a lot even if I don’t like the smell of those candies. And this really is sophisticated gourmand because it’s not so strong and screaming those gourmand notes. Everything is in balance. I don’t know how my reaction is possible but it’s like that and after really observing testing during many days I ended up ordering FB of this.
Pure lemon meringue pie, sort of synthetic and weird, but I have no idea why this is called Métallique. This and Soleil Blanc are the only Tom Fords I actively dislike.
So many question marks over this one regarding performance. When you wear it, it’s like it’s not even there. But wait, I received one of the strongest compliments I’ve ever had while wearing this. And at the time I could no longer perceive it. But the people in the room said it was the most amazing smell whenever I walked past. Don’t ever think you can trust your nose to smell something. It’ll let you down. Follow me on Instagram: @TheScentiest
Nope nope and nope. This was a huge let down alongside chocolate queen. Both smell very similar to other navitus offerings. This one (divine) smells like Darius other one called Serenade. For me this is not what i was hoping for from the way this frag is described via youtube. I think this is the end of my Navitus journey. They ain't doing it like they used too, which is a shame cause thwy do have some bangers in their collection. But these newer releases are just not worth grabbing. Sartorial nuit is nice but 0 performance like what is really happening with the company. On top of that, there's a ("new") house called vivamor with all the exact same fragrances as navitus but different naming???. This company is a shambles now. Sad, they had a good thing going before.
I'm a late comer to the whole Zaharoff line, knowing more about the man and all the surroundings of the brand, community stuff etc...than the fragrances themselves, so it's about time the arbiter got aquainted. At best they are none trendy, pleasantly wearable, Men's bizz backed by proper industry F&F company, and at worst slightly fucking boring, but hey I'll take that over bandwagon hopping and smelling of bubblegum any day of the week. So Signature Pour Homme is probably the most appealing of the ones I've tried so far, soapy, blokey, lavender and peppered with herbal spice in the top notes smells like all spice anise or absynth or something? very lightly dosed and makes for a well blended composition. The fougere warmth doesn't really come from sweet, or hay like coumarin (thus avoiding a bit trope there) and is instead provided by a kind of oud base/black agar smelling thing, which kinda is a bit of a trope but hey I resepct the style of the brand and I think this is a wearable effort.
This might just be the best gourmand I've come across!. P.s im a gourmand LOVER so i have tried/own A LOT of gourmands. This is the only gourmand fragrance that actually makes me hungry lol. Smells like a ferrero rocher!. Milk chocolate, nutty, caramel, creamy and ofcourse sweet. This to me is a better version of italica. Not that it's a dupe but it does remind me of italica for some reason. (I think its the milkyness). This is like white chocolate cocopops with caramel and almond and hazelnut. But not cloying. Sooooooo delicious!!!!!!🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤
There's a lot going on here. It's got everything, but somehow it works. I'm nasally devouring my wrist over and over again, loving the floral extravaganza.
All of the above notes are there, but strongest of all is patchouli. It's a very nice, but very needy perfume, so I have to be in the mood for it.
THIS REVIEW IS A COPY OF WHICH I WROTE OF MANCERA'S ROSE VANILLE SO THIS STARTS FROM THAT. THIS INCLUDES 5 DIFFERENT ROSE VANILLA SCENTS. Again another rose-vanilla -scent (I like that combination, don't get me wrong), and sorry but again Mancera did it in very synthetical way. If you have a budget you can go for it, it's nice anyway but if you can invest more money then you should definitely choose Xerjoff's K'Bridge Club or stronger scent MFK Oud Satin Mood. Even Tiziana Terenzi's Delox is this same "note family" like as well Initio's Atomic Rose. Delox is beautiful, mellow one and Atomic Rose on the other hand very synthetic and cloying. I will compare these because I find it useful while trying to choose new scents for testing or even blind buys. I don't recommend bb for anyone even if I have many successful blind buys. 1.Mancera Roses Vanille If you prefer this kind of scent to be more vanilla and not so much rose. In the opening I got rose as well but it fades away immediately after 15 minutes. This is just sweet vanilla, not so powdery either like MFK Oud Satin Mood is. This is not so strong and you have to spray many times during a day. Base notes are vanilla and musk. More affordable than others. (Maybe you want to test Montale Cafe Intense as well, very same kind of with a hint of a coffee.) 2. Xerjoff K'Bridge Club If you prefer good combination of vanilla and rose. Very nicely blended good quality scent but this is quite weak scent compared to Tiziana Terenzi's Delox or MFK Oud Satin Mood. Vanilla and rose is anyway much better than in Atomic Rose and they are not so synthetic. Beautiful scent for the office or everywhere when it's polite to think other people and how they will react to your scent. This is sophisticated version of vanilla and rose. This is a little bit fruity (like TT as well) compared to MFK OSM or Initio Atomic Rose. 3. Maison Francis Kurkdjian Oud Satin Mood This is the strongest one of these all. That scent is the beast and you definitely doesn't have to re-spray it during the day. This has all in the balance: vanilla, rose, oud and powdery accords. This I found out a little bit synthetic as well (not cloying) in the beginning and I was thinking this is not for me but this is really addictive, beautifully made and unique scent. Some people say that they find out oud too loud but I think it's really not. This is not so sweet like K'Bridge or TT. 4. Tiziana Terenzi Delox Stronger projection than Xerjoff K'Bridge Club, but anyway those two are the most similar to each other. Both has some hint of fruits as well and both are really vanilla. If you want to compare these to Initio's Atomic Rose TT has a coffee note and Atomic Rose is not so sweet, it's most unisex of these all. Delox is a good quality and long lasting scent. So coffee note you can find from this and Montale Cafe Intense (where the name is miss leading because the coffee note is weak) but I wouldn't compare these as a similar scents, there is too many separating things but if you just look the notes, those two look so similar. This is musk and amber based. I love this TT's Delox! This I definitely want a full bottle. 5. Initio Atomic Rose Nicely blended rose and vanilla, but so synthetic and cloying, the quality is poor. Not too sweet, not too much rose. The most unisex of all these perfumes mentioned. This is not the worth of money. Despite what is the base notes here you can find these really similar scents but there is a big difference with intensity and quality. But since we all are different and we experience the scents so different ways I just recommend to sample all of these and decide after that. For me these all are different! It’s like if you like a lot leopard print you find all leopard print different. Or you can find yourself in the situation like me wanting almost all of those because I find so unique things between these as well. Mancera and Montale I don't like to have, the quality is poor but so is Initio's Atomic Rose. Since I blind bought MFK OSM and fell in love with that I would like to have as well some more "shy" scent from rose-vanilla -combo. I think I will try to find some very natural smelling and good quality Rose-Vanilla.

A boring perfume in the same spirit as L'Homme Idéal EDT by Guerlain, which is more striking and complex. Pi gives me almond and vanilla and not a lot else. It smells good, but not interesting, and certainly not worth the price.
I don’t like fruits here, I think this is beautiful but for some reason I just don’t reach this and if I pull off I wanted to wash it away immediately and I find it cloying. This scent confuses me because I can’t say what exactly is the thing I don’t like. For me this smells similar to Kayali Vanilla 28 but this is better quality, more complex and stronger imo. Surprisingly one another really same kind of scent for my nose after it settles down is MFK Gently Fluidity Gold and I don’t like it either. The quality, the projection, the sillage and longevity is great. And the bottle is gorgeous!
Nice, beautiful fruity mix, really fresh but not so extraordinary. There is A LOT OF fruity scents out there. Quite weak performance and because of the weak performance this would be good to use at the gym. Anyway I choose to buy FB of Tiziana Terenzi Kirke instead of Erba Pura. Kirke is like deeper and finished version of Erba Pura and would be beautiful during the summertime. But if you like fruity scents, you should try this because I think it’s worth the price anyway if compared to some synthetic ones.
I would have never ever sampled scent with this kind of main accords and notes if I wouldn’t have got the 7,5ml travel size from Kilian for free. My first reaction was like “terrible, watery, boring, what the hell is this, definitely not for me etc.” it was summer time and something made me anyway pull it off again and again and after weeks I had to admit that I was totally hooked in this scent! I sprayed more and more and the more I sprayed the more I wanted FB. This scent is perfect on the beach, at the gym or wherever when needed to smell really fresh and clean. This really is like a fresh Gin Tonic in the beautiful bottle. This is not for cold days, it definitely doesn’t work at all. That I can tell because I live in Finland. Longevity is poor and if you are few hours somewhere you really need to spray more on the go so the travel size is practical. FB is really heavy. I’m the wrong person to tell if this is unique or not because like I told this category is not my cup of tea normally. I just can say that this is unique in my collection and I have tested parfumes a lot (many which I haven’t choose) and something which would remind me of this I haven’t met.
I bought this original one in 1993 and since that I haven’t wanted to be without this in my collection. That was my signature scent for years, at least 7 years and I never got bored. I have owned MANY bottles. Now as I have this Collector 2017 edition I don’t love it as much as the original one back in the days. This is like watered down and more sweet. There is missing that intoxicating a little bit powdery feeling which I got from the og Classique. Actually when I bought it I didn’t know that the scent is not the same. So now I have og Classique parfum which has been macerated well many years and the scent is amazing and this Collector version as well. Since I felt in love with niche world I haven’t been wearing this so often and I wanted to have that original Classique. It has always the place in my heart and on the shelf. Since this scent is a legendary I just wanted to share history with this scent, I don’t think so many needs the scent it self analyzed. I give this 5/10, it’s still sexy and seductive, but it’s not deep and addictive like I wanted it to be and it’s a little bit cloying. Anyway it has a great projection, sillage and longevity.
This is SOFT AND NICE ON THE SKIN, you can wear this everywhere, this is a really good skin scent and I think no one will be offended by this. I wore this while travelling couple of weeks ago and this was nice because I smelt that clean, soft, a little bit creamy scent all the time but in the same time I knew that I’m not the one who smells that heavy perfume from most of the people on the airplane gets headaches. 😅 The opening is sophisticated citrus, not sharp and after that it’s a soft skin scent, not projection so much but longevity is good. Some day I will buy FB but now I have bought so many so this can wait. Anyway I would only use this while traveling or as sleeing scent. Edit after FB and few weeks: this is my favorite scent if I’m in hurry and I don’t have time to think what would be the best with my clothes, where I go etc. this is just so perfect in every occasion.
Richwood is a woody chypre unisex perfume but not in a traditional Chypre way imo. There is a little bit citrusy in the opening but it’s gone quickly and the middle notes seems to be hidden. This is a rich and creamy soft musky Sandalwood scent with a Patchouli bringing even more woody edge and a slightly sweet Vanilla wraps the other notes together. The name Richwood is well deserved. The blend is really well done, it’s quite much a skin scent but it works well in this scent and it lasts many hours. For some occasions it’s a little a bit too boring since it’s quite linear perfume without any surprises from the opening until the last hints of the scent. But in the same time I find it really beautiful, sophisticated and luxurious with irresistible sensual undertone. It’s easy to approach and very wearable in the places where you don’t want to bother people with too load and strongly projecting scent. It’s very pleasant and calming which is the reason why it has became my favorite scent during a flights especially in the autumn and winter time. ❗️ There is not Sandalwood listed in the notes anymore but Xerjoff has confirmed that it’s not removed nor reformulated they just wanted to change the list of the notes. I really wonder why since the Sandalwood plays a major role in this inviting blend (at least my batch) of Chris Maurice. Difficult to believe it’s not reformulated. Top: Mandarine Peel, Grapefruit, Bergamot, Bourgeons Cassis Middle: Rose Absolute, Geranium Leaves Base: Patchouli, Musks, Cistus Labdanum, Amber Coumarin, Vanilla, Sandalwood (not mentioned anymore) Thank you for reading and if you want to follow me on IG: @ninamariah_perfumes
This is a unique, beautiful, soft, woody and powdery oud scent with roses. This is not a traditional rose oud, it feels like some well known scent profile- in this case rose oud - is covered with a huge amount of powder which is scented with Lavender. In the opening there is soft Palisander Rosewood, Lavender and Cinnamon. Lavender gives a fresh aromatic feeling and I think it’s the note which gives a soapy vibe for some people. For me it’s not soapy, it’s just clean. Cinnamon is difficult to separate as a note in any kind of way but it brings warm spicy vibe which I like a lot. Since there is Cedar in the middle notes and Sandalwood in the base notes, this is really woody but in the soft creamy way. And the whole point of this perfume: Oud. There is Laotian Oud and Thailand Oud and the last one with Musk give very sensual nuances to this concoction which I adore. Vanilla is impossible to detect as a note but it brings more soft touch to the scent. Beautiful sophisticated Rose is lingering in the background and it’s perfectly blended. Everytime I wear this it’s getting more addictive. Now the common question: how this differs from Alexandria II ? Since the main accords and notes are almost same it’s easy to think that these two are similar. It was somehow too boring for me and I felt that there is missing something. That was soapy for me but not a vintage style soapy which I love. I’m so glad that I gave a chance for III but that wasn’t love at the first sight either. I was testing this scent for a couple of weeks and after that I was totally in love. I tried to give many opportunity to II as well - but that wasn’t for me. I’M still IN LOVE with Alexandria III 😍 💯 Beautifully blended, totally unisex creation! Pretty overly sweet Honey together with Caramel and that combination is made wonderfully. It's smooth, soft and it has slightly baby wipes vibe which makes it velvety and a little bit powdery. In overall this is sweeter that Ceylon but the opening in Ceylon is much much sweeter that this one. If you like honey, this is definitely your choice and this is very easy concoction, Oud on my skin is totally hidden and Honey as well is pleasant. This short review is based on a sample. Thank you for reading and I would appreciate a lot if you want to follow me on IG: @ninamariah_perfumes
Unisex I made one review earlier and those was my first vibes of Alexandria III I wanted to post the more detailed review. This is unique beautiful, soft, woody, powdery oud scent with a hint with rose. This is definitely not a traditional rose oud, this is different and very complex, nice, round and mysterious (which I like always) blend. In the opening there is soft Palisander Rosewood, Lavender and Cinnamon. Lavender gives a fresh aromatic feeling and I think it’s the note which gives soapy vibe for some people. For me it’s not soapy, it’s just clean. Cinnamon is difficult to separate as a note in any kind of way but it brings warm powdery vibe which I like a lot. Since there is Cedar in the middle notes and Sandalwood in the base notes, this is really woody but in the soft milky (not lactonic) way. And the whole point of this perfume: Oud. There is Laotian Oud and Thailand Oud and the last one with Musk give sexy very slightly animalic vibe to this creation which I adore. Vanilla is impossible to detect as a note but it brings more soft touch to the scent. Beautiful hint of the Rose is lingering in the background and it has to be there, otherwise this wouldn’t be as addictive as it is. Now the common question: how this differs from Alexandria II ? Since the main accords and notes are almost same it’s easy to think that these two are similar. II was too boring for me and I felt that there is missing something. That was soapy for me. I’m so glad that I gave a chance for III but that wasn’t love at the first sight either. I was testing this scent for a couple of weeks and after that I was totally in love. I tried to give many opportunity to II as well - but that wasn’t for me. But oh, I LOVE this Alexandria III 😍 💯 Beautifully blended, totally unisex masterpiece! Bottle gifted for review. Besides the glorious presentation of this perfume -in itself a beautiful celebration of tactile materials - the fragrance is an absolute joy to me. Immediately, the ripe raspberry hits you. Then comes a dry, dusty, medicinal oud. And then the rose blossoms. There are supporting notes of Osmanthus and iris etc, but the major play is as above, at least for me. For a rose/oud, it’s not particularly floral, hence it does lean masc. When I wear it, it imbues me with an inner strength and confidence. It’s actually been my most worn scent since I got it about a week ago. I’m drawn to it more than anything else in my collection and have worn it safely to work on a couple of occasions. I have several rose ouds in my collection and this one is currently my favourite.
