It’s not unpleasant but it’s plain, it’s an ordinary mix of fruits and florals suitable for summer.
I picture this perfume on a young woman with fresh clean clothes, a casual style and flowers in her hands. The Lavender is particularly notable. However, it is a bit too casual of a smell, it would not work for special occasions and its sillage is so so.
Very elegant scent, it reminds me of a softer, cleaner, lighter and more feminine version of Alien by Mugler, without however losing its potency. If you love Alien but want to wear it in a hot summer day, this is for you.
They did not call it “La Bomba“ for nothing! Very tropical and fruity, VERY strong and long lasting, a proper bomb of fruits and flowers. I was on an (unsuccessful) fragrance hunt today and I got to test more than ten perfumes. I took the test strips with me and left them in my bedroom. When I returned in the evening, the room smelled like this one, overpowering all the rest. This is not my type of smell though, but it’s a great choice for someone into potent tropical florals. The bottle stands out too.
It’s a classic floral and fruity smell. It’s fine but it lacks a bit of character…
Worse than the original Black Opium by Yves Saint Laurent but better than the other flankers in this line. It’s like a lighter, fresher version of the original but it is less gourmand and sensual.
It’s like the smell of these little chocolates with cherry liqueur inside but in a perfume.
POV: You bought an amaretto liqueur but accidentally spilled it all over you.
Based on other reviews I had high expectations for this one. Turns out the bitterness of the Bergamot is overpowering everything else on my skin unfortunately.
I appreciate it and it has been forever my mother's signature scent but call me crazy but I have this mindset that a perfume does not have to kill you in order to be considered a good perfume... Being in the same room with my mother right after she has applied this can and will kill me and my poor allergic nose, but I have associated it with fond and warm thoughts once it dried down and could hug my mom again! Maybe due to my personal circumstances, I consider it a classic super strong mature lady scent, and not so unisex.
