Spicy Summer Scent

I’m really into warm/fresh spicy scents. (Think: saffron, cardamon, ginger, …) and i feel that there is allot to offer for more Autumn/Winter scents, but not so much for high summer.

I thought of Ege (Nishane) a bit, but I read allot of mixed reviews. i like my fragrance to have a good longevity (sillage is far less important.) and to have that east meets west/ Constantinople/ acient greek meets grand tour vibe. I also love liquorice/anise/mint. But that’s a hard combo to find.

Do you all have some recommendations? Houses I like/love: Amouage/Nishane/Etat Libre/Maison Crivelli/Marc Antoine Barrois/Mystikum, but I am open to explore others or be suprised. :-)

Some minty options in no particular order:

  1. Amouage - Enclave
  2. Amouage - Memoir Man
  3. Akro - Haze
  4. Caron - Yatagan
  5. Diptyque - Eau de Minthé
  6. Frederic Malle - Geranium pour Monsieur
  7. Les Indemodables - Rose de Jamal
