I got my hands on the newest perfume launch from Zara!!
The inner child in me was screaming when I saw the new Barbie x Zara collaboration. The clothes, the accessories and most importantly the new perfume!! The packaging is super cute and the bottle is a must for a collector.
What does this smell like to me? OK, so please note that I have had this less than 24 hours but I have some thoughts. When I first sampled it, I thought it smelt nostalgic but I wasn’t super impressed. I hadn’t tried it on my skin at that point… I left the store and went for lunch and I couldn’t stop thinking about it. So I went back and bought a bottle and let me tell you… I am REALLY happy with my decision. This is a hybrid of some of my favourite perfumes!!
This smells like a hybrid between Kilian - Princess & Love Don’t Be Shy with a little bit or Parfums de Marly - Oriana thrown in for good measure. I mostly get Princess from it but with an additional bit of vanilla sweetness. It’s a burst of pillowy vanilla and marshmallow, with a little whipped cream and some beautiful florals. I pick up tonka bean in the dry down and I get a slight almond playdoh vibe from it. It’s fun, feminine, playful and pretty!!
