L'Artisan Parfumeur Timbuktu Review. Timbuktu is one of those beautiful, green woodsy scents that I really love. I'm finally happy to have this fragrance in my collection and happy to review this slightly edgy scent created by the master perfumer, Bertrand Duchaufour. If you're an incense, vetiver, papyrus lover then you will certainly love wearing Timbuktu.

Timbuktu is a very dry fragrance but has this wet moisture undertone screaming to come out. Bertrand Duchaufour was inspired by his trips to Mali where he attended many African perfume-making ceremonies, love potion-making ceremonies and when he returned to L`Artisan Parfumeur he decided to create this wonderful masterpiece of a fragrance called Timbuktu. Timbuktu is one of the most popular fragrances from L`Artisan Parfumeur along with fragrances like Tea For Two and many others.

L`Artisan Parfumeur has a huge catalog of really nice smelling fragrances and if you're exploring outside of the designer fragrance world L`Artisan Parfumeur would be an excellent place to start with to smell some wonderful and exciting new scents.
