I had the chance to sample Boy Chanel by Chanel from the Les Exclusifs Collection yesterday and I loved the fragrance. It's not anything groundbreaking in fact some f you might think you've smelled this fragrances before. It's got CHANEL written all over it. The Chanel DNA is so present I thought I was smelling other Chanel fragrances. But that's not to say the fragrance is not great it's awesome.
The name Boy Chanel might be confusing to some but if you do some research to find out the story of why Boy Chanel was called Boy Chanel you'll find out. It's not because it's targeted to a young male crowd it definitely is not but it's because of Arthur Boy Capel who was Coco Chanel's companion and the fragrance is inspired by Arthur Boy Capel and the word Boy comes form Arthur's name.
