Thierry Mugler Pure Tonka Fragrance Review + Giveaway

Here's my latest Thierry Mugler Pure Tonka Fragrance Review. A mostly recent flanker from Thierry Mugler after A*Men Ultra Zest which I really loved. I had really high hopes for Pure Tonka after the excellent release from Dior Privee Collection last year called Fève Délicieuse I thought we are going to get something very similar with the trademark Mugler DNA that I really love and have loved since the late 1990s. When I finally purchased my bottle of Pure Tonka and started wearing it I thought to myself this is good but not great.

I find Pure Tonka to be very similar to Pure Coffee. I find that the Coffee notes take over vs the Tonka Bean note and I really wanted more of a dominant and potent Tonka Bean in Pure Tonka vs the very dominant Coffee note. So once I started experiencing Pure Tonka's similarities to Pure Coffee then I thought that Pure Tonka is a redundant release especially since it's so similar on me to Pure Coffee.

So in the end I'm a little let down with this release and it's left me wanting more from Mugler. Maybe we will get Eau De Parfum updates of our classic scents from Mugler in the near future? I'm hoping and praying but in the meantime we'll enjoy what we have! :)
