One of the latest releases from Atelier Cologne and part of the Collection Orient, is Philtre Ceylan. I was asked if I had any favorite new Atelier Cologne fragrances and I immediately jumped at the chance to review this new one by Atelier Cologne so this is my Atelier Cologne Philtre Ceylan Review. Tea dominant fragrances are not too easy to find and when I first smelled Philtre Ceylan and Neiman Marcus I liked what I smelled but slowly I kept going back to Neiman Marcus and kept getting drawn to this new release. Philtre Ceylan is like taking some of my favorite Tea scents like L’Occitane’s The Vert and The Blanc and adding a contrasting note to it like the cumin note. I find Tea fragrances to be very comforting but when the cumin gets added to it it contrasts between relaxed and comforting with uplifting and energizing touches of the very aromatic and pungent cumin notes. That’s what I like about Philtre Ceylan it’s got the best of both worlds.
The cumin note in Philtre Ceylan is not the body odor variety. It’s very fragrant and clean and very aromatic. The majority of the experience with Philtre Ceylan is the two tea notes, Black Tea from Ceylan and Green Tea and the cumin these are the major players in Philtre Ceylan.
I’m glad to have this fragrance in my collection and I’ll be sure to put it to use plenty this coming fall season.
