Imaginary Authors Slow Explosions Fragrance Review
Here's my video for Imaginary Authors Slow Explosions Review With Josh Meyer shot at Tigerlily Perfumery. The event was to introduce Slow Explosions to the customers and us bloggers, fragrance reviewers the new Slow Explosions. It's always very exciting when a new perfume is to be released. There's build-up and there's excitement and there's hype around something that hasn't come out yet. Sometimes the new release falls flat and sometimes it blows up. Here for Slow Explosions, it's blowing up. Josh Meyer has created which I think one of his best perfumes to this date. It has a dominant note of Rose, in this case, using a rose absolute along with saffron, Leather, Apple, Benzoin, Cashmeran and Arpora Night Market.
I must say being the big rose fan I am I really love this. This is a great take on a rose, it's very Middle Eastern and brings to mind fragrances by Montale and Mancera. But what makes this so unique is that fresh, crisp green apple note. It's adding a juicy crispness to the dense leather saffron and rose. So so good and I enjoy wearing it very much.
