Tom Ford Vert Des Bois Review + First Impressions of Vert D'Encens & Vert Boheme
Okay here we go this is my Tom Ford Vert Des Bois Review. Vert Des Bois is one of a trio of new Vert or Green fragrances from Tom Ford Private Blend Collection. In addition to Vert Des Bois there's also Vert D'Encens which I also really love as a scent and Vert Boheme which I thought was okay to good but it didn't jump out at me compared to Vert Des Bois and Vert D'Encens.
What I liked about Vert Des Bois the most is the Spiked Ouzo Accord with the poplar buds note along with the olive tree leaves notes. Those three notes together were magic on me. It's transferred me into a deep, green forest, woody, earthy and fragrant mossy forest. One that is very aromatic. Vert Des Bois is like a modern fougere, a fougere that I like. But the other great part about Vert Des Bois is the dry down, the patchouli like airy woody dry down is so so good and with a little rise of my body temp it's just heaven. A bit classic and very classy but totally modern for today.
