I've been a huge fan of Ambre Precieux by Maitre Parfumeur et Gantier so when I got the chance to review Ambre Mythique by Maitre Parfumeur et Gantier I jumped at the chance. I was very curious as to what Maitre Parfumeur et Gantier would do to an amber especially since they had Ambre Precieux, an amber and are very well known for it. I was also very curious to find out about the updates to the design, new bottles, size of the bottles with the juice, the whole package. And sure enough I wasn't let down with Ambre Mythique. I find Ambre Mythique close enough to Ambre Precieux where it draws inspiration from Ambre Precieux but different enough to warrant a purchase. I find Ambre Precieux, drier and spicier compared to Ambre Mythique and I find Ambre Mythique quite a bit more creamier and comes off more luxurious with a bit of a comforting factor. The result is a wonderful, big beast of an amber fragrance. Long lasting, major cloudy projection and big sillage. Ambre Mythique is worth checking out if you are into the big and intense fragrances.
