This is my Mirus Fine Fragrance The Elysian Fields Review. The Elysian Fields by Mirus Fine Fragrance Perfume Review. Yet another fougere this one is an aromatic fougere fragrance, one of my favorite genres in perfumes. But this time we have it from local San Francisco Bay Area perfumer Neal Peters of Mirus Fine Fragrance and it's The Elysian Fields. This is a luxurious fougere in Extrait concentration. A little goes a long way with this fragrance and you only need a few sprays. Check it out.

The Elysian Fields - NEW Aromatic Fougere Unisex 1/2 oz parfum extrait spray Suitable daytime and evening, for all but the hottest days.

The Elysian Fields is a rich fougere that explores the more sumptuous aspects of this classic fragrance style. It starts with a special lavender oil made from just the lavender flowers, with the stems and greenery removed. This yields a sweeter smell that is more true to nature. This rich, sweet lavender melds with Venezuelan tonka bean absolute, natural oakmoss and geranium to form a heady fougere that’s both traditional and decadent.

Opening: Rich, sumptuous fougere accord balanced with hints of bergamot, cardamom and lilac

Drydown: Smooth tonka bean and white musk with hints of sandalwood

Notes: lavender, tonka bean, oakmoss, geranium, bergamot, lilac, cardamom, sandalwood, white musk
