Montale Oud Tobacco Fragrance Review | Montale Oud Tobacco Perfume
My thoughts on Montale's latest Tobacco Fragrance, Oud Tobacco. This is not a dirty, burned, ashy tobacco experience. I'm picking up the leafy tobacco and it's an accord from Tonka Beans so not much Tobacco and Oud here but I get a grape-like berry-like syrupy fruity quality from Montale Oud Tobacco and most likely it's due to the Sumac note featured prominently here in Oud Tobacco. Heart: Incense, Oud, Orange Blossom
Base: Tonka Beans, Oud
Accords: Herbal, Citrus, Sweet, Spicy, Tobacco, Fresh, Aromatic, Oud, Woody, Tart, Syrupy
Key Notes That Stand Out: Tonka Beans, Sumac, Oud, Citruses, Orange Blossom
What does Sumac smell like? Sumac is reminiscent of the taste of lemon juice but not as tart. It's a sweet but sour taste with an initial punch that balances out after the initial taste. Sumac blends well with Cumin and other spices.
