A truly beautiful tobacco scent, one of the best I've found. Its golden hues of whole tobacco leaves laid out and baking in the heat of the mid-afternoon sunshine. Warm and woody, the leaves hum with the deep, dark flavour of molasses. A must try. Highly recommended. Follow me on Instagram: @TheScentiest
An interstellar molecular scent for the discerning astronautical traveller. A cosmic swirl of interplanetary stardust. The gentle amber glow of the moon. A quite stunning fragrance for the bravest of cosmonauts, made for intimate space scenting or layering. Artistically cohesive with its sense of lights twinkling in the darkness, it’s deftly crafted and absolutely gorgeous, with Iris wrapped in soft, delicate blonde woods. A total win. While references to L'Eau Papier aren't miles off, 312SH is better in almost every way. Its soft orange blossom and clean, fresh linen aldehydes are chic and gently stylish. There's the most delicately dosed oud in the base, which is almost imperceptible to begin with but does come through more later in the wear, adding warmth. This would be an endearing option for business hours as much as 'smart cas' settings. However, I don't think I could think of a time when I wouldn't want to smell this good. If this was a cup of tea, it would be mine. Follow me on Instagram: @TheScentiest
I had the pleasure of sampling this on paper and found it to be a one accord perfume. Stable leather. Fittingly, it is inspired by beautiful and elegant Arabian horses. It is quite a harsh leather at first, but dries down to a softer version of itself. It smells moneyed and chic. If you're looking for a leather fragrance, this would be a great place to start. Ame du Couer opens with a fruity, realistic, vibrant mandarin with a side-helping of blood orange which, with the spicy addition of pepper, cardamom and ginger comes off like a wintery, festive orange. The woodsy notes unfurl into a base of modern vanilla and the cacao, tonka and plum fill out the spaces in between, giving it some heft. The top notes, which burn fast and bright, are ephemeral and once beyond this stage, AdC will appeal to lovers of woody vanilla fragrances. I highly recommend testing this on skin as it comes off completely different on a test strip and much better. Really love what this brand do and their perfumes are typically unique and driven by an artistic motive from imaginative briefs. Follow me on Instagram: @TheScentiest
Contemplative, brooding and a touch melancholy, Ink is my favourite from the brand. It’s also one of the best vetiver fragrances you’ll find. Follow me on Instagram: @TheScentiest
The brand just confirmed to me it is not discontinued, which I am very pleased about because this is a fantastic fragrance. Follow me on Instagram: @TheScentiest
Serous amounts of va va voom. I'd forgotten Sarah Baker signed the original F&F and similarly this new extrait version is like a nitro boost for your senses. Gas-guzzling, it hurtles you into a high-speed chase through a field of oil-stained tuberoses. It's racy stuff. The motor oil, the mezcal, the white flowers. It's thick, hot to the touch like a motor engine in full swing. Follow me on Instagram: @TheScentiest
Baffled by the reviews here. To me this opens with a leathery, dusty saffron. It's dry and absolutely not too sweet, although it does head in that direction. It is super wearable and this very morning, as I was paying for my fuel, the cashier stopped me to write down the name of my perfume. I adore saffron. Done well, it's probably my favourite note. And here, I find it addictive. Majestic Nard is quickly becoming my favourite perfume. Follow me on Instagram: @TheScentiest
Probably my favourite from the brand. This is a delectable concoction of the most refined caramel with sweet florals, musks and vanilla. The portfolio of scents Sophia Bardelli has created for Electimuss is stellar. Follow me on Instagram: @TheScentiest
