This has similarities to LV lovers minus the phantom fig note. It’s quite pleasant but I wouldn’t say it’s an essential pick up, unless you fancy a cheaper frag that does similar job to Lovers.
This is a Chameleon! At the start this is very sharp citrus's leaning toward neroli. There is a hint of something salty in the very background but not obvious unless you search for it. As people have already said, this all about the dry down. After around 20-30 minutes it transforms into a much sweeter and creamier kind of citrus and the salty note reads as musky and interesting. This is very well done and will shine in high heat.
This is NOT Ganymede! It lacks the depth and masculinity of Ganymede. If anything thing it leans closer to Bois Imperial, but even then, it’s not quite that either. It’s quite pleasant and has that quirky metallic vibe that they both have, but feels airy. To sum it up I would call this Bois Imperial Light or Ganymede for Her
Some people can’t smell this at all. For me this is the strongest of all the molecule fragrances. It is so strong at first spray that it is almost offensive to me, with a floral top note. After a few minutes the top calms down and it becomes a nice creamy woody smell with a light spice. The power of this fragrance remains for hours and I can still smell it even after a shower! For me this is Beast Mode.
I used to be able to smell Another 13 and wore it as my signature. Bought a new bottle and now I can’t smell it! Sold my bottle of A13 and bought JHAG NAP which I can smell and I really like it. Lovely clean smell that reminds me of clean laundry blowing in the spring air, beautiful.
10/10 Masculine clean floral fragrance with a beautiful note of freshly washed skin Nothing like another 13 or any of the other molecule based fragrances. If I could liken it to an existing fragrance it would be Brioni Eclat, however the Zara is a little sweeter and less like Terre D’Hermes.
Well, I am very happy that I can smell this. It is very good indeed. First wearing whilst sitting with my family and keep thinking someone smells nice, then realise it’s me! The scent comes and goes and changes in the process. Sometimes it’s woody then it’s fruity followed by very light minty aquatics. So far so very good 😊
I never felt the need to leave a negative review but I suppose there is a first time for everything. Anyway the only way I can describe this fragrance is a chemical mess! The opening is extremely harsh with a burst of alcohol and a kind of burnt plastic/rubber note. There is some improvement in the dry down and little sweetness after around 15 minutes but the chemical smell never really leaves. Maybe it was just my skin chemistry, but this was a big no for me. You can’t win them all
I really love Oud Makaki and this is now my cooler weather signature scent. As many have already said it is not an Oud heavy fragrance. I think the Oud plays a supporting role, just to give it some depth. I would describe it as a fresh and spicy sweet tobacco with an Amber base. There are similarities to Halfeti but I think Oud Malaki stands on its own and is something you won’t smell on many other people. The quality to price ratio is amazing and if this was in any niche house’s bottle it would be prices at least 3x as much. Very happy to have discovered this fragrance in my 10 years + of exploring and happy to call this a signature.
After collecting and exploring for well over 10 years, I have made Erolfa my warm weather signature scent. I have lost count of how many fragrances I have smelled and owned in all this time and Erolfa stands out to me. Nothing else really smells like it! Although it has some similarities to Millisime Imperial, it is not the same. Erolfa has something unique that evokes the feeling of both wealth and a Mediterranean coast line. A really classy and enjoyable fragrance that I hope to always be able to own.
