It is an Oud fragrance. So if you have a hard time with Oud, this is not for you. And it’s an Andreoli Oud so i expected no less than a great projection and longevity. Double check. I like it. As soon as the Oud gives it some space, it brings the sweet and fruitiness of the raspberry, and then, a very subtle but pretty rose, the sweet love kind of rose, still red, not pink. Strangely enough I feel like it’s an Oud I can manage to wear under high temperature, like for a summer night out. Not a winter exclusive Oud for me. It’s a beauty.

If you’re on a hunt for a rose fragrance, as i am, nevermind. I could not get any rose until say 8-9 hours after 1st spray. That said, yes, longevity is that great. And after what were very surprising first hours of the most bright, green, sharp and fresh bath of leather accord, the rose came to play, very subtle, after long hours, as the rest of the notes faded away. Truth is, it was not what I expected at all, not the rose perfume I believe I need to add to my short collection. But somehow, i cannot stop thinking about this one and I loved wearing it. also, I always find it hard to find a more hot days adjacent fragrance that i really like to wear. This is one is probably the best one Ive ever worn for summer. I’m in love. still not sure if I’d go for a bottle or if it will have a place on my wishlist. lets see how many times I’ll dream about it in the next weeks. What? Are you need that kind of obsessive?

i was pleasantly surprised after trying this Berbera as the notes of incense and frankincense are usual not my cup of tea. I guess i tend not to be confortable around those mostly when they remind me of church interiors which is surprisingly (or not) not the case in here. I love this scent so much. It’s fresh, not clogging, not for a second. Beautiful scent. My favourite from the brand so far, taking the place of Sulawesi. I’m going through the discovery set and only Grand Ile left to try. I find Berbera the most long lasting too. Silage is very weak though, as it is for all other scents. A missing point for me to be hones…

I love it! So far my favourite from the brand (but I’m yet to try Grand Íle which seems to be the most loved one, can’t wait). Such a beautiful patchouli, a soft one, not the medicinal sharp type that is taken to an extreme when you talk of a Cannabis Patchouli from Dries. It softens even more as the hours go by and it finally gets kind of sweet to me after say 5-6hours. Dry down is also lovely, very cozy actually. Sillage is not great, very close. Longevity is ok.

First one I’m trying from the brand’s discovery set. The notes don’t lie (not in this case), I knew I was going to love it and boy was I right. I love this fragrance!! It’s spicy, but fresh? A cinnamon you can wear all year around really. Unfortunately for me, there’s no sillage to be seen! Again, for me! Very very week performance if you like it to be noticed (by the wearer too) during the wear, which should be the point… So sad.

I was lucky to be presented to 1996 only a couple of months ago and it has forever changed my own fragrance podium. It combines two of my favorite notes in perfumery to perfection: the Iris and the leather, in such a spicy and earthy way. The kind of fragrance that makes my shoulders drop from the very first sniff. I am obsessed. This is so charming and comfortable, definitely long lasting on me, more than the average selection from Byredo. I would consider the sillage moderate. This fragrance is the sophisticated dimension of you, on a leather jacket, for sure.

Testing this one today following a free sample received so no big expectations. The opening was such a pleasant surprise! Love the top notes that shortly give place to a gorgeous, fluffy iris note. I was in love… for about 10minutes. Unfortunately (for me) the projection is close to none. The dry down gets a little too soapy for me too. It was a 15-20 min great love tho…
