This fragrance has been rebranded South Slope. I picked this up for $29 at Marshal’s. That’s a decent price for this fragrance, but I can’t imagine spending more than that. The performance is about like a Bath & Body fragrance. It may get better with age. I don’t get the similarities to Y EDP. It’s your basic barber shop smell. Pretty heavy on lavender. Longevity is maybe 3 hours, with a very close projection. Would call it a skin scent. I may edit this more as I wear this fragrance. I do want to give it a fair review.
This is arguably the best cherry fragrance out there! It’s beautiful. I would say all aspects of this fragrance is perfectly balanced. The smokiness gives it just enough masculinity, but the amber gives it that feminine touch to balance it out. And when it comes to the cherry aspect, I can’t explain it. Rouge Smoking Extrate from BDK is about 85% simulator and I like it, well enough that I bought a bottle, but Houbigant Paris Ambre Rubis blows it out of the water, by the smell, and performance. On Rouge Smoking Extrate , the cherry aspect fades away, but it stays with Ambre Rubis. This one is on my wish list, and I will be getting it!
This stuff is so good! It’s one of those scents that you forget you are wearing, then you catch a glorious sniff. This is what this line needed. I still think $275 for a 3 ounce bottle is crazy for a designer. However, this isn’t your typical blue fragrance. I still love the Sauvage line from Dior, but I feel like Bleu D‘ Chanel Exclusive is more of a formal fragrance. This is perfect for evening wear. It’s The amount of smoke and resin is well balanced.blue but dark.
This is so good! Could be unisex but leans slightly male. I would say the best of the line. That cherry is so perfectly balance! Longevity is easily 10 hours. A bit less sweet than Intensely. You could ware this all seasons except summer.
It seems very ozonic, with slight lavender and violet. Slightly woody, but would say ozonic and mineralic for sure. Best way to describe it is a breezy spring day right before a tornado.
I really loved this one, back in the day! I wished I could get some more. Definitely makes you think purple, when you smell it. Definitely is a unique scent. That violet flower definitely stands out.
This smells good, but doesn’t last long. It seems to be a linear fragrance. It is a dupe of Initio Oud for Greatness, which does perform much better, and is dimensional. You pay for what you get.
When I first purchased, I thought it was weak. I like the smell alright, it just didn’t last long or project as well as I expected. After a year of aging in a dark drawer, it has turned into something beautiful. It now performs much better.
Very beautiful cherry scent! it has just a small bit of spice. I’m picking up heliotrope and some florals. It leans maybe slightly more masculine.
This is a beautiful scent! It doesn’t have an overly strong projection. I would say that the black tea note is predominate. Definitely smells like Imagination, with a twist. I also get the tea note that you pick up in Gris Charnel from BDK. The presentation is stunning. The bottles are like a slim Xerjoff bottle. And the price is under $60. Ainash has a high oil concentration, so they last longer than most designer fragrances. I recommend this brand.
Edit: 6 months after purchase and this stuff has aged well, and even performs better. This is a fresh fragrance. I know I compared it to Gris Charnel, but a fresh Gris Charnel. I have heard it’s a lot like Imagination.
